I've been having CTD recently but I think I've fixed it by regenerating shaders and cleaning up/repairing DCS world, following this guide https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/repair/

Oh sorry, I'll upload it tomorrow. In the mean time I have ran the DCS update clean-up and repair tools (opting to remove dozens of unnecessary files)as well as regenerating shader cache. I got to fly trouble free in the A-10C II on the hoggit training server for a good amount of time.

After updating all drivers the latest beta still crashes with a black screen at random points. This is incredibly frustrating. dcs.20201004-043942.zip dcs.log

fixed I forgot to mention I had just reinstalled windows but hadn't downloaded/updated my mother board drivers and since rectifying that I haven't crashed. So i guess this can be marked as solved.

On the very latest NVIDIA drivers, I believe was released a few days ago.

Mission 08 is bugged for me. After comm checks on the deck, the wingman doesn't/can't move to the CAT because of other aircraft on the deck blocking her path. I did generate a new logbook.lua file and just told the campaign to start the Raven One Campaign on Mission 08, I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I think the CBU-99 bursts at 1500ft regardless of VT settings, I'm not sure if it's a bug how it works in real life but this is the case for the DCS Hornet. This is validated in the Raven One campaign where it tells you explicitly this will happen. As far as CCIP accuracy goes I have still had issues with accuracy; falling long or falling short but there's probably a dive bombing profile to follow that makes it as accurate as possible. A good thing to take into consideration is where the wind is blowing as the bomblets will get blown by the wind.

This has felt like it's been happening for a long time. The air radar automatically soft locks targets beyond +/-70° azimuth in RWS and TWS. It's incredibly annoying in the HUD and HMD. What's up with this?

Is there's a DCS 2.5.6. guide on graphics settings, I'm trying to play on 1080p at 60FPS>. Outside of understanding AA and SSLR being the major frame killers, I don't know much more. My 8700k is overclocked to 4.9Ghz paired with a RTX 2080 Super.

+1 I could believe its real and can live with it but.... what if the pilot wants to designate multiple TOO targets for multiple JDAMS and then slew the TPOD to something else of interest....ie track a moving target

Just wondering what everyone uses their toggle switches and spring loaded switches for. Personally I use the bottom three across every module as (excluding A-10): (EAC: ARM/OFF) - Master arm on (RDR ALTM: NRM/DIS) - Refueling probe extend (AUTOPILOT: ENGAGE/DISENGAGE) - Jettison button (AUTOPILOT: PATH/ ALT/HDG ALT) - Gear up Neutral Down The other toggle switches I haven't mapped as anything to any module except "FLOW R" to toggle NVG's with IGN R and IGN L to adjust NVG gain.

+1 would like to know. Using the DCS updater I get <350kb/s but 600kb/s-1000kb/s using the torrents.

[uPDATE] I think I figured out how to do it and it's easier than you might think. 1. Open DCS and start downloading modules. Let it run for several minutes and cancel it. 2. Go to the directory as mentioned below and download the torrents for the modules. There could be 1 or more torrent files per module. 3. When the torrent downloads complete. Move and replace the files you just downloaded to the directory below in the folders that were automatically created when you let DCS start downloading modules. 4. Open DCS again and re-download the modules and it should just "complete operations" without downloading much more if not anything. **If step 2 doesn't create the folders you're looking for. You could (a) wait longer and keep refreshing the directory window or (b) Go back to module manager and just select the module you want. [EXAMPLE]: I want to download the AV8B-NA Harrier 1. Open DCS, click on the module manager and select the harrier. 2. Let the DCS updater run for a couple minutes and then terminate it. 3. Go to the directory as mentioned below and download torrent files: a) "DCS-2.5.6.47224-RAZBAM_AV8BNA.common-base-0" b) ""DCS-2.5.6.47224-RAZBAM_AV8BNA.common-update-0" 4. Copy both the downloaded torrents to the folder in the directory below, "RAZBAM_AV8BNA.common" 5. Open the DCS module manager again and select the harrier 6. Let DCS updater do its thing and there you go. This is what worked for me, for one module. Might be able to skip step 5 of the example by just running the DCS updater however I haven't tried it :) under ~\DCS\DCS World OpenBeta\_downloads\.torrents are torrents for modules. Is it possible to use them in a preferred torrent manager (ie qbitorrent) to download and then put them into DCS?

Happens to me to in MP and SP. I can also use the helmet mounted display to see the box around targets on the ground.
