It makes absolutely no sense for R-27R to outspeed the R-27ER under any circumstances. For the same reason why AIM-54MK60 will outspeed the AIM-54MK47, and why AIM-54 will outspeed an AMRAAM. Maybe acceleration is a bit slower on ER: But then by my understanding, a heavier missile will also carry more energy, which will take longer to bleed off, assuming the same shape.

ER is quoted to outspeed most missiles in terms of max speed. I think ED needs to look at the rocket motor simulation of the missile again.

Но как-то вы из AIM-120 +20-30% выжали, без лофта. Р-27Э и 120 были обы сделаны 7-8 лет назад. Как получилось, что это старое моделлирование было супер для Р-27Э, но американская ракета была на столько хуже чем сейчас? Маленькая необъективность модели, скажим какой-то пессимизм со максимальный скорости, может сильно влиять на результат, тем выше высота пуска, чем хуже.

Н001 в DCS цели на 10.000м в ЗПС (cold) на более 25-30км захватить не может. Ведь написано "Возможный пуск". Почему не возможный, из перспективы составителя для лётчика не важно. Странная логика, новые Су27С и МиГ-29А/С не были сделаны в 21вом веке, а Лот20 и блк50 были после 2005 и 2007. Где современные русские самолеты серидины и конца 2000их, МиГ-31ВМ, експортные современные фланкеры, МиГ-29К? И ведь тоже были ситуации, где более современные експортные Су-30 могли бы пойти в бой против более старих експортных Ф-16, 15, 18, со ракетами 120B, AIM-7 даже. Почему вы те, которые с амраамами хотят против лучшего противника летать, заставляете играть в АМРААМ против АМРААМ? Посмотрите в МП. Там только Ф-16 и Ф-18.

Какая версия Су-30 в DCS? Пуск по несколько цели он выполнить не может, даже с Р-77. Которая только РВВ-АЕ 90их, значит это не СМ уж точно. "Modern" это было бы Н011 или Н001ВЕП. Против Ф-15 без линк16 это всё но ладно. Но против вашы новые модули нужны более современные самолеты. И тогда тоже нужна логика, каторая разрешает с диполями сривать иногда РЛС, иногда семиактивную ракету, А не только ракету с одном коэффициентом.

A better radar alone wont be enough, radars need to be modelled in a way that they are fooled by chaff, not just the missile. That way there will be more of a difference depending on what plane an R-27ER is launched from. Though in DCS even AI just gets the oldest soviet N001 radar, so new units need to be added too.

Ракета из-за потери цели не попадает. Семиактивная ракета сильно зависит от стрелка и его РЛС. Вы говорите что это не так.

On the topic of AIM-120, here is a video from a guy who actually used them in combat and got one kill (and failed to kill the second MiG-29). First time stamp: 21:57, AIM-120 and AIM-7 at 14-15miles miss from high altitude on a beaming target. Second time stamp: 27:19, AIM-120 fired at 5 miles head on from 20.000 feet misses. The pilot says that he should have shot more missiles and prepared to merge with the target in case the missile fails (gets jammed/chaffed as he states earlier) And these are all MiG-29A. They carry absolutely no jammer. Only 30-60 chaff. If a 5 mile shot in perfect conditions (and fully supported in STT!) will miss there, one can only wonder how the missiles do against equally modern jammers and chaff.

РЛС МиГ-25 полный ужас. По моему цели на низкой высоте вообще не видит. И против джаммера и диполи думаю что ещё хуже. Когда МиГ-29 цель теряет, откуда ему знать если в режиме памяти он нечайно диполи захватил? В игре так слелано, что ракета при потери цели сразу за диполи уходит.

Как? Пустите 27ЭР на цель более 30км в ЗПС на большой высоте. У ракеты энергия есть, но РЛС Су-27С цель не видит. Пустите на цель в ППС на скажим 11.000м на 40км. Цель, скажим Ф16, просто быстро меняет курс, РЛС теряет потому что цель сейчас в ЗПС. Ф-16 опать делает разворот к вам. Это все в течение секунд. Эненергия у Р-27ЭР при этом ещё достаточная. Пустите на цель отлетаюший от вас со тожый самой скорости (+-50км/ч), скажим на 8км и 1050км/ч. Побрубуйте пустить ЭР. Не можете, по тому что фильтер очень большой и Н001 цель не найдет. У DCS Ф18 этого фильтера нету. И конечно ещё есть цель малый радиальной скорости, где РЛС Су-27С цель более легко теряет чем DCS F-18, или скажым Су-27СМ3 или Су-30МКИ.

Are you talking about the Indian air force? There are countries spending much less on their military, yet they buy the best missiles they possibly can. Why would the Indians complain about RVV-AE effectiveness in their little skrimish, develop their own active missile as a result and then decide: Hey, lets buy even more inferior R-27E missiles! Maybe because they aren't actually more inferior.

Р-27ЭР/ЭТ в игре лучше Р-77. Сильность в комбинации всех этих ракет, но большинство эффективных летчиков изпользуют Р-27 как главную ракету, а Р-77 как бонус. Это потому, что у этой ракеты "нового поколения" нет одного преимущество против амраама. А у Р-27Э хоть есть скорость. Но по словам лётчиков НАТО должна и быть дальность (как раньще в DCS и было), для этого ждём вас. Эффективнсть семиактивной ракеты тоже сильно сависит от качество радара самолета. Можете сделать Р-27ЭР самый лучшый ракеты в игре, но если Су27С или старый МиГ и их РЛС 1980их цель так легко теряют, ракета не далетит.

Claiming that AIM-120 can be barrel rolled at 5 miles in the current patch is even more silly (they cannot). They could when ED replaced chaffing of active missiles with an ECM+dodging mechanic a while ago. But they reverted it. Of course most people did not notice the second part and went crazy about the first. What likely happened in his track is that it got chaffed off the rail, he didnt launch it ideally either. Now he could argue you dont need to launch AIM-120 in any way there and it will kill the target, but thats up to him. R-27ER in DCS can not track any (intelligent) target that even gets close to flanking aspect (or passes through it), against the ground. Until ED stopped (or in their words "slowed down") the development of OPFOR in DCS, it was the largest thing holding the russian planes back, despite their missiles having such massive energy. It is a known weakness that you sign up for when you fly EDs 1980s soviet fighters. Is it better on equivalent Sukhois to Lot 20 hornets and Block 50 F-16? ED is not planning to let us figure this out by adding those, at least to the AI arsenal.

40.000фут нормальная высота для первых пусков. Ф16 любит даже на 45.000-55.000 кататся. DCS Р77 без лофта тут с 120B вообще не сравнивается. А DCS Р-27ЭР при этих очень важных первых пусков "outranges our AMRAAM missiles" (американские лётчики) против лофтовую 120B тоже не умеет.

Вы так и про AIM-120 нам говорили. DCS AIM-120 летит 200+км, такая дальность тоже нигде заявленна. Не важно сколько что кого как спасёт, баланс вам ведь не важен. Вы AIM-7 тоже изменили, а она тоже не сильно другой стала. Важно что если одну ракету поднимаете на более высокий уровень моделлирование, вы быстро так же сделаете с другими. И в 2012, когда вы открыли эту ветку, вы так и сделали. Почему сегодня мы должны этого годами ждать?

You say you stopped development of russian fighters and A-10A/F-15C, "because you can" make full fidelity ones. Where are our full fidelity Su-30MKI, MiG-29K? You dont have information for full fidelity? Make them in lower fidelity. It surely is better than giving every fan of modern OPFOR aviation in the world the finger. For now, DCS is still the only platform we can use. We can´t just switch to a different game yet. You mention MAC. Where can i play this "MAC"? Chizh said in an interview that development has not started. A lot of my friends fly NATO planes, which happen to be full fidelity. Will i be able to fly with them in MAC? Because if no, this product is not relevant for anyone in these forums.
