  1. This, I subscribe. But I don't even use the elevator to lift off. The K kindof flies herself from there. I just posted a video about it. I almost gave up on the use of the rudder. But then I noticed that the rudder becomes effective at a certain airspeed. The K has a small tail fin and rudder, it needs a lot of air to feed it properly. Cheers,
  2. I use no curves on my TM Warthog setup and have no issues. Cheers,
  3. Well said!
  4. I flew a custom mission in the 342L and the Gazelle flew great. For the first time I feel like I'm commanding the helicopter and not the other way around. Flying in the mountains, hovering to scout a village ahead and finally shooting my cannon and rockets ... It was fantastic. Full debrief (lots of screenshots) at my blog: http://kriegsimulation.blogspot.com/2016/06/dcs-sa342-gazelle-what-if-they-gave-war.html Cheers,
  5. Thanks, man. I can't wait to fly with the update.
  6. So, any improvements in your handling of the Gaz in the 1.5.4 open beta? I can't wait to try it!
  7. LOL. No problem. :) Cheers,
  8. Good review! Thanks. The third screenshot of your review looks very similar to one of mine at my blog. http://kriegsimulation.blogspot.com/2016/05/dcs-sa-342m-gazelle.html Cheers,
  9. Man of few words! :) Thanks,
  10. Got it. Thanks! Hoping to see the flight model updates soon. Cheers,
  11. All these changes reported for 08Jun16 are coming out today? Cheers,
  12. I know. I'm not all that clear on versions, but I know that both my 1.5.3s are up to date. Anyway, pull some collective to keep airspeed and coordination. Cheers,
  13. Hello, Running 1.5 beta (it's the only one where I can turn this chopper). Maybe somebody already mentioned it, but I pull some collective during turns. It works like a charm. Cheers,
  14. Hi Shugart, thanks for that. Any word on how RL pilots turn with the Gazelle? Cheers,
  15. Understood. But all those have nothing to do with the flight model. All I know is that Polychop recognized that the pedals input was a tad too high. Cheers,
  16. I don't know if it's just me, but in the videos I can see some subtle but crisp corrections. In the last video (02:21 to 02:41) there is noticeable nose-up, nose-down flight during taxi. Cheers,
  17. That's good news. Congratulations! Now that you had the feedback from the real pilots, I wonder if you could ask them how are supposed to make a turn in the Gazelle without loosing so much forward airspeed. Cheers, EDIT: ESOL
  18. The events log showed an engine shutdown, though. I've hit him with the guns a good five minutes earlier but I don't think it was enough to explain why his engine quited ... Anyway,
  19. I am in STT ... The only Mig 29 kill I got was after the sucker stalled his engine. :) Thanks,
  20. Hi jojo, 5,000 ft AGL, 560 kt. You mean try those missiles in other aircraft? Thanks,
  21. LOL. True! Like the guy who bought shoes two sizes smaller than his feet "just for the satisfaction of taking them off at the end of the day". :)
  22. Thanks again. Sometimes I lose radar lock at the very last few seconds and the missile goes to the dumpster. As you mentioned it, it happens when the bandit starts maneuvering. I got a kill with a 530 yesterday. Rear aspect, 6 miles (?!) range. Those missiles make you feel like the dawn of the missile age. Cheers,
  23. Hi. Thanks for your response. Yes I'm using the updated "Matra"-tagged ones. So, you mean is a radar issue? Cheers,
  24. I can't hit anything with those missiles. Are those missile modeling issues going to be addressed some time or they are supposed to be that way? Cheers,
