Interesting info. I was just wondering this last just. I have a i7 8700 with 1080ti and 32 gig and my frame rate with Odessey + is 30fps. With just monitor I’m getting 70-90. I’m nervous to overclock my CPU. I’m not experienced in doing that. Wondering if overclocking would help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I bought a new BT dongle and shut off the internal BT on motherboard via the bios and it worked. The MB built in BT didn’t work.

One more question...where can I adjust the settings in Steam VR.? In Steam VR I’m in the Steam VR room, is there where I find and adjust the settings ? PS: can I navigate in the Steam VR world without my O+ controllers? I’m working through the bad Bluetooth built into my MB by getting a BT Dongle

Wow..I just got the O+ and I didn’t have the Rift to compare it too for DCS but I do have the Oculus GO. I like the O+ in DCS, very immersive. I do have a problem finding the sweet spot as I have the IDE all the way in right now. I did have an issue setting up but its resolved. I still cant get the controllers connected with my BT motherboard. Are your stutters bad ? I notice it a little when turning my head fast.

Awesome. I’ll give this a try. It was very frustrating to get the head centered and the game going. One thing is the software and dcs sync with Samsung isn’t the best. I finally got it working last night and I must say the Immersion is unreal. The detail on the ground isn’t good like picking up the runway but all else is a game changer. I can’t seem to the UI layer to enable the center command. And to top it off, I can’t get my controller to connect. Buying a usb Bluetooth device. My motherboard won’t connect to the Bluetooth devices. It has built in bt.

Just got a new Samsung Odessey plus headset and I can’t get them working right at all. I installed wmr for steam and steam vr. My PC is a i7 8700 with 32 gig mem with 1080ti. I get the headset on but it locks up, the menu is behind me, the menu is sometimes in all different spots. My view in cockpit is sometimes facing the back of the plane, in the seat. I need help as it getting fustrating. I’m thinking of returning it.

Can someone help me. I just bought the Samsung O+ and and can get it working. I have windows mixed reality for steam and steam vr installed and I can’t get it working right. It’s freezing up and I can’t get myself centered in the cockpit. I need some serious help. I might return it if I can’t get it going right. But I know it can be done. I have a good PC with i7 8700 32 gig memeory and 1080ti

Ok folks I’ve been introduced to WMR via hoggit due to the fact I was about to purchase a oculus rift. What’s the skinney and can you guys summerize the many pages here. Is the new O+ better for dcs and is it easy to setup with a stand alone dcs version not through steam?? Appreciate the help!

My GPU gets to about 68C at full load. It’s a 1080ti and from what I understand it runs at that temp under full load. I don’t see how your gpu can run slightly above room temp at full load. When just running without a load my gpu is below room temp. My cpu with a water cooler runs at 32c all the time.

Fans are on the other side of radiator and draw cool outside air over radiator which enter the case (not very hot at all) then get exhausted top and rear quickly. Case stay relatively cool

No problem with airflow, why not leave side open as not to capture too much heat

Looks great! A lot of fans I wind up opening up my side hinged glass side panel when running it to keep the heat flowing out.

Gotcha...I just played (with keyboard for now..waiting for throttle and stick) and it ran max temp 60c at a 4K high settings for about 1 hour...stayed at that temp .. Wasn’t sure how hot they should get...thanks

I believe the GPU temp was about 60c and I couldn’t even touch the top heat plate on the GPU. I have 3 140 fans on the top and one 120 fan at the rear and 3 120 at the front drawing in new air over my AIO radiator. I’m new to PC’s..esp higher end ones and I’m not sure of running it at 60-70c continuously is ok ??

So I finally was able to build a decent PC to support DCS with a 1080ti card, 32meg ram, i7 8700. I hooked it up to my new 4K tv and finally was able to navigate to find how to send high resolution to the tv and was able to play around for the first time on DCS with just a keyboard and mouse and it looked great. The video card got very hot running the high res feed so a couple questions: - I plan on getting VR google soon, should I keep the “VR” settings stock in DCS for best res and performance? - If and when I use the 4K tv for DCS I do notice the GPU getting very hot..is this ok? - If I dont choose to run 4K, what is a decent res to run with some good settings? I have the Warthog throttle and some peddals on order. Any other suggestions welcome .

I’d love to get the Virpil throttle and stick but they are never in stock
