Hello... after a long time without cockpit building, my project is still alive. My job situation had not give me enough time for build my cockpit. But now it is again in building. I have my before two years started left console now finished. Only the brake pressure gauge is not working, this is build in the future in plan. All switches are wired and connected with my I/O Board. The switches can normal binded in DSC via key binding. The next step is to rebuild the right console. The right console should also be converted to my I/O board for button mapping in DCS. The plan is to just connect all the gauges and the UFC to the DCS BIOS. I hope I can more time spend in the next few month in the build and spend you more picture and news from my cockpit. Cheers Sky

No, this is not an endless stepper. This stepper is going to start position, when it gets power. As soon as he receives values from the DCS, he then drives.

That's true. The font is for a 128x32 OLED. I don't know if you can still adjust the size in the code. Back then I made the font so that it fits exactly on this display. If it is not possible to adapt the font in the code, the font would have to be completely redrawn.

Ich habe mir den Schubhebel bestellt. Ich habe auch nur einen "bei mir wars so" Erfahrungsbericht. Ich habe das Zeug bestellt und alles wurde sauber ausgewiesen. Rechnung hing in 2 Sprachen außen dran mit einer vollständigen Zollerklärung. Das Paket wurde nicht geöffnet und ich habe eine Rechnung für die Einfuhr bekommen und bezahlt. Der Versand war richtig schnell, ca 7 Werktage. Das Gerät ist von guter Qualität. Auch wenn eben kein CE drauf ist. Es wurden durchweg gute Schalter verbaut, da bin ich aus China ganz andere Qualität gewohnt. Wie die meisten hier geschrieben haben, wer Wert auf CE legt, Finger weg, wem das egal ist, ich kann zumindest den Schubhebel an sich empfehlen. Ich bin zumindest zufrieden damit. Gruß....

Two new pictures after a long time. These two pictures show the state of my left console. All parts were simply put together. The final assembly of all parts takes place later. Building all of the backlight circuit boards is the next step, along with cable management for all of the switches. The parking brake lever and the landing gear lever were completed by me with all functions. The Jetteson Button is from Open Hornet. Greetings Sky...

Alter Schwede, für einen dem geholfen werden soll, legst du aber ordentlich los. Beleidigst hier erstmal alles und jeden und erhoffst dir Hilfe. Erst sind bei ED alle doof und jetzt hast du The Dan auch am Wickel. Wenn ich mir das hier alles so durchlese ist deine Lunte sehr kurz und wenn ein Problem auftritt liegts an jedem aber nicht an dir. Nicht schlecht, aber ich kann sehr gut verstehen das The Dan dir nicht mehr helfen will.

Bei denen habe ich einen Preis angefragt. Die Antwort war eindeutig. Kein Preis sondern nur der Hinweis das sie nicht an Endverbraucher verkaufen. Bugeyetech könnt ihr streichen. Gruß Sky

Ja, danke für die Info. Ich habe auch mit dem Throttle geliebäugelt. Das ist jetzt irgend wie dumm. Mich hat der Preis allgemein noch abgehalten das zu bestellen aber diese Wendung rückt alles in ein ganz anderes Licht. Dumm ist das es keine wirkliche Alternative gibt. Tja, da waren sie also wieder meine 3 Probleme... Schöne Grüße

My UFC is as good as done. Only the knobs are missing. But everything is already working completely.

Next test of the UFC with the segment displays for the channel and all buttons. After a few problems in my RS485/487 network, all works now in the network. Hey, I use: 6 Nanos, 2 Mega2560 8 Max RS485. 6 2.23 inch OLED displays, 2 VBK200 16 segment displays, near 100 resistors 120 Ohms and 10kOhms, 12 LED, 19 tactile switches with LED, 3 rotary resistors, 1 on-off-on switch This is now, but there are still different switches coming. Sky

I also have problems with my mega board, but in the network.

Do you use the Mega directly at the BIOs or in a network of several boards?

TX0 and RX0 is now in use, but is doesn‘t work.

Hey guys, i need your help with DCS BIOS and RS485. In my network runs 1 Master board (Mega2560) and 6 slave (Nano) and all ist running. Now I need 2 slaves more in my network, two Mega2560 as slave, but the two Mega Board not will run in the network. DI on Max485 ist conntectet with TX1 on Mega. RO is connectet with RX1. DE and RE have a bridge an is connectet on pin 2 (D2) on the Mega. The sketch works fine without the Network, but in the network not. It's like the mega is not on the network. Cheers Sky

Thank you ... I am using 2.23 inch displays with 128 x 32 pixels for my UFC. But be careful, the displays are too big for the UFC. I modified all displays to fit the UFC. You have to be careful not to destroy the displays. A video or two of them are planned to be made, but the UFC is very complex and it will be a while before I can make the video. For me it is currently more important to push the project forward. Cheers
