I'm hoping to enjoy the VR, but am cognizant that VR appears to be a bit in the infancy stages and probably will be developing at a rapid pace making whatever I get obsolete. New to VR. Trying a friends Rift CV1 and I enjoy the experience. I don't want to spend $1300+ for a vr system yet... So..my questions are: 1. Would you buy a rift s in today's market and why or why not? In Canada the cost is 479 or 378 USD. Thanks in advance My specs are 2700x 32GB ram 2080ti DCS on NVME drive

Hey all. Looking to be pointed in the right direction. My search and youtube didn't find what I was looking for. I can find single targets with Aim 7 / 120's but not how to engage multiple targets. Can someone point me in the right direction pls Thanks :)

Certainly some great points brought up. Overall.. my take away has been that most people are happy with it. A couple of issues, specifically the base, but like the grip and throttle. Perhaps then I should look at it a different way.. Get the TM combo and.....if needed.. in the future replace the base (perhaps virpil warbird)?

Looking for opinions from owners. Right now I'm playing with a x52. It's failing, so I need to look for something else. I fly the f18. TM came up as a nice combo. However, although more expensive, would you go with virpil or VKB if you were to do it over again and why? Thanks for your time.

This only happens on the f18 module On other modules, everything works. I can use my profile for X52 and keyboard binds JUST on training flights. However in instant action and missions my binds no longer work. They do register as being selected, or changed in the settings menu, but have no effect in game. The only thing that work are the Hat for POV viewing and the joystick movement (up/down/left/right) and throttle. On other modules the keys/HOTAS work just fine. What I have tried (all with no change) Make sure I am on SIM, not Game mode Check and uncheck synchronize controls..... Uninstall / reinstall the module (f 18) Remap keys / HOTAS Load a different profile, Change keyboard and HOTAS Everything works fine in the Su33 I'm running out of things to try. Can you please help? It seems that my keyboard and hotas profiles work in training, but they are not carrying over to instant missions etc. Anyone else had this? For example, my keyboard doesn't work, nor any of my settings on my hotas, for example, button XXX centers view in trg missions, but does not work in instant missions. I'm horrible stuck

So, I'm really stuck. My throttle works when on the ramp, but cold and dark is a no go. After I get my battery/apu and crank the right engine, I can't use my throttles. **I have tried the: "You need to use RALT+HOME to move the left throttle from OFF to IDLE and RSHIFT+HOME to move the right throttle from OFF to IDLE." Still no luck. I have also tried rebinding.. but nothing they still don't move. However, it works in the cold and dark training mission, but not on any other.. so I have not idea what it could be! Any suggestions would be appreciated.. Thanks

Hey, I'm in the same boat. I can get my x52 to show what each key does on the screen, but it has no effect in the game. I have synced controls Kinda stuck. Hope someone helps out

I found this regarding speeds for ram when I was researching. Skip to 22:25 for dim rank/ config target etc. Not sure if this is the same on all MB, but for Crosshair 7. There are lots of youtube videos that explain the benefit of faster ram for ryzen vs latency. Essentially what I took away from it was that that you will see a bigger difference if you have a better graphics card. 1080 and above. Cheers
