Yes, I have a few of them but worried about the multiplayer aspect with integrity checks. Kind of like the A4-E, servers won't allow it due to it being a mod.

With all the aircraft of high quality being produced now for just about every theater, I'm really surprised that one of the major 3rd party developers aren't making paid addons! We have aircraft from WWII to the gulf war and we do have some amazing DLC maps for some theaters like Navada, Persian gulf, Normandy etc. We still need Korean peninsula and Vietnam/gulf of tonkin area, as well as ground crew/equipment for the airfields to give them more life. I would pay $30 for a 1950's Korea map with jeeps, huts/structures and ground crew as well as AI aircraft like the B-29 etc. I'm really surprised a 3rd party developer hasn't jumped on this as there would be cash to be made. Other items could include ships as well. I really hope someone picks up on this idea because I'd really like to throw my cash at it if someone does!

Hey OP, I totally understand your post! I had the very same problems!!! Pitching and porpoising, can't get a shot off because of shitty bouncing around! Yes, I understand!!! This is what I did: I had a crappy HOTAS system and upgraded to the Thrustmaster 16000M with throttle... It made a huge difference to my flights, not only in the Sabre and Mig-15, but also with the Harrier, it is the best bang for your buck as the controller for the stick is the same as the warthog, bit with a less expensive build. I also edited the control curves for the AXIS in the aircraft control menus and set my trim on the stick china hat. You can make them tone down the curves and make a more stable flight, adjust to taste. I really hope this helps. I received the same responses from people not understanding these issues as they used their $800 warthog HOTAS systems. I did feel your pain at one time! I really hope this helps you enjoy these aircraft more. Also note that they are still not perfect but hugely better than before!

I'm not sure if its just me but my aiming reticle is right on the top edge of my gunsight glass and usually disappears as I get close to the target. Is there a seat height adjustment or do I need to set up the sights some how. If I maneuver into a climb they usually come back... frustrating. :helpsmilie: Thanks in advance!

Have been trying to contact the Stennis in twilight landing using the radio menu and can't seem to get the carrier to turn on lights for landing... This a missing feature or my issue

@Storm Any chance I can get the AIM 9 mod? I'd like to have the ability to use it for top gun style missions when the F-14 rolls out. Short range and guns idea but missiles of equal potency.

Interesting, I'm fairly new to the A4 and I'm really enjoying it. This aircraft has huge potential. It seems strange but I have just about all of the 3rd party modules and I seem to be flying this one almost exclusively! Go figure... Amazing job by the Dev team

Yes, trying to simulate the aircraft and performance with the A4's F5's and the F14's would be awesome. I guess everyone is anticipating the release of the F14 so having the A4 to train with would be fantastic. The guys who made the A4 did an amazing job, such a pleasure to fly!!! If there is no "M" tweak to the A4 I'll still use it no problem, just love to see some Top Gun style servers on Multi to hone skills. It would be great to adjust the load outs to include air to air missiles of the same type to encourage close quarter BFM for guns and missiles, relying on pilot skill and how well the pilot knows the aircraft they are flying... I'm sure this would be fantastic game play and a real challenge.

Heatblur F-14 avdersary! will it work OK? Just wondering if there is a Top Gun A4M in the works or at least increasing the thrust to the A4M specs. I've tried to do some gun BFM with f-14's and Mig-21's and find it difficult to get my nose on the buggers, not sure if its pitch authority or a thrust thing but it seems that the F-4 and Mig 21 can out turn the E model. I'd love to use it for a adversary when the F-14 comes out. "A-4M — Dedicated Marine version with improved avionics and more powerful J52-P-408 engine with 11,200 lbf (50 kN) thrust, enlarged cockpit, IFF system. Later fitted with Hughes AN/ASB-19 Angle Rate Bombing System (ARBS) with TV and laser spot tracker, 158 built" "TOPGUN introduced the notion of Dissimilar Air Combat Training (DACT) using the Douglas A-4E “Skyhawk” in the striped "Mongoose" configuration with fixed slats. The small size of the Douglas “Skyhawk” and superb low speed handling in the hands of a well trained aviator made it ideal to teach fleet aviators the finer points of DACT. The squadrons eventually began to display vivid threat type paint schemes signifying their transition into the primary role of Adversary training. To better perform the Adversary role, single-seat Douglas A-4E and A-4F “Skyhawk” models were introduced into the role, but the ultimate “Skyhawk” was the "Super Fox," which was equipped with the uprated J52-P-408 engine similar to the configuration used by the Blue Angels" Just need a tiny bit more thrust as in the M model. Been flying DCS for a little bit and wanted to hook up with some west coast Canadians or US bros for casual multiplay. I'm really not that great but wanted to train with some real pilots instead of AI. I have most of the modules including F-18 and have pre ordered the f-14 to do both RIO and pilot work. I've checked out the regular server list in multi but not sure which one would be best. I've also considered joining a squadron but I have a family and I'm not sure how much time is required for commitment. I'm just looking to have fun and maybe learn a few things. Cheers
