  1. When I first flew the chopper anything above 160 seemed to cause this same reaction. I try and keep it at 150-155 or below and it seems to fly without oscillating, at least for me. This was empty of cargo also.
  2. I increased my FPS to 90 in Virtual Desktop software and that seems to be helping. I also set the IHADSS to display in both eyes instead of the right as default. Not sure this fixes anything but does make seeing the IHADSS better. I have hard wired router and headset. Nothing runs through wireless on my system for DCS. I'm going with framerates as the basic answer to the concerns I had of jittery or nervous IHADSS display in VR. Thanks for everyone's input and descriptions of solutions. I can only imagine what the next 5-10 years of VR will get us. What a time to be alive!
  3. Good to know. Also, I am using Virtual Desktop and not using Steam. Not sure that would make a difference or cause the issue. I wonder if there is a sensitivity setting I'm not finding somewhere either in DCS or in the Quest 3 app that may be causing it. The problem is not unbearable, just annoying at times, especially during defensive threat maneuvers. Maybe I'll mess with the sharpness settings and see if that may help.
  4. I played last night and turned down some of the forestry settings and it made a little difference. I have almost all settings turned down already. I'm working with a 3070rtx so that may be my Achilles heel. I guess I need to explain to the wife my predicament and start planning a GPU upgrade!
  5. Don't know any other way to explain this in other terms. In VR the IHADSS seems jittery or maybe nervous and jumpy. In 2D it's smooth as butter on screen. In VR it's more switchy. Question, is there a way to get it to stabilize like in 2D views?
  6. I noticed the Green light isn't as intrusive on the NVG. The Yellow is terrible when it comes on. It is what is it I guess. Thanks for the help.
  7. Wondering if there is a brightness control knob for the ASP Yellow and Green lights in the photo below? The reason I ask is it's a little hard to see aiming ahead with NVG's at night. Thanks for any help. Shout out to Chucks Guides for the photo and great manual on the Hind. https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/mi-24p/
  8. Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos. Very much appreciated.
  9. I still have issues with this transition from George piloting to me piloting. I transition from George flying to me flying and the controllers are all out of wack with what George was flying. Now I spin out of control and collective doesn't help. Need marks on the controller display that shows where George has his collective and stick inputs and I'm able to replicate those before taking over control. I have seen this with the new Kiowa warrior Helicopter used to help transition from AI to pilot. Am I missing something that helps others with this transition from George to me as pilot?
  10. Been playing DCS for years and switched to VR and find this a problem also. The cursor sometimes gets shifted way outside your VR view and you lose track of it. This takes several seconds to find the cursor and get reoriented. It also delays getting things done in the cockpit. Would love to see the cursor (in VFR only) stay within the viewport of the VR headset. Maybe even disassociate the cursor from the head movement all together as an option. Maybe this can be done already but not sure. Thanks for reading.
  11. I read somewhere in the campaign documents you have to return to base and land for the mission to log as completed. This may help.
