v.1.2.2 has been shared on GitHub which includes:
- Add the LCP
- Add a new Day-Night button
- Add HMD to the cockpit
- Add SPEAR-3 ARM missiles
- Fix UCP Backlights
- Fix SBD GBU-39 Bug
- Fix font material for kneeboards
- Fix the HUD horizon offset issue

I did notice a few bugs, where should I report them? 1 - I couldn't get the TGP to work on the dedicated pylon, though it worked fine on the centerline. 2 - when I released my last GBU-39s, the JAS39 got into "hyper speed" I don't know what else to call it. Fully out of the throttle, blasting around at Mach 1.36 doing 6g turns without being able to slow down.
For the TGP you will need to follow the procedure that I posted on my YouTube channel, the GBU-39 bug will be fixed in my next patch

I've checked several tutorials and I came to the same conclusion; they did not exist the only indication is via the HSD

You still need the AI to have the Gripen model.
AI = Exterior model + weapons

One question, why are there 2 files, AI and Player?
AI goes in the core mods and is the exterior stuff, use this if you don't own the Jeff, player is the cockpit and will require a valid version of the JF17

Beside deleting all the custom weapons there is not much you can do, weapons are very volatile since ED is charging the backend code constantly
That being said, once I am done with the Gripen I will work on this mod

It replaces the JF17, unfortunately Deka does not allow their DLLs to be used by another plane, thus I suggest using OVGME to manage the mod

Those are only the Lua files, had to be done to avoid conflicts since the entry file reads that folder

v1.2.0 - April 2025 Release
I will post it here also, since I would love to see more people trying to mod the JF17. This module has a ton of potential, and I am sure the community could create some pretty cool stuff with it. It has its quicks, but over the last year it's been my main jet since it offers something different from all the F-s... jets we have. Hope you guys enjoy it!
This release brings fixes, new weapons, and more immersion by replacing the JF-17 HUD with the JAS-39 one and the iconic tan MFCDs. Note that some weapons are still lacking some functions (ED is still updating their weapon schemes) and may need to be selected via missile_config.lua or the Payload.lua in the \CoreMods\aircraft\ChinaAssetPack\JF-39 folder. Check the repo for changes, since I will try to patch them as updates tend to break them. Also, assets and carriers should be OK, just don't load the jf39_dws39.lua or jf39_agm_154.lua (they are commented out currently). Please take a look at the full list of changes below. To install, delete your old version, and you can follow this video: Link

Will the LS-6 100 ever get its GPS/INS implemented like the GBU-54 or GBU-24?
Currently, you can't have it in PP mode, just TOO like you would with all the LGBs

I can see that ED has it ready to go, but the JF-17 does not have the proper SMS pages for it-

ED just released a patch I would suggest testing it, as stated above the mod is still ongoing, our Discord is a better place to follow updates and bugs

Yes, there is, like in the JF-17. On the CDU you will see the NWS light when you have pressed the button.

In addition to several bug fixes, it also includes new cockpit textures, code for selecting different missile types (JF-39_AI\CoreMods\aircraft\ChinaAssetPack\entry), new Tan MFCDs (top left yellow button on the left MFCD), new radios, and a pilot model with kneeboards (use shift+s). The Fox 2 and Fox 3 fixes are also included, thanks to @currenthill.
