1. I'm just saying that that looks very similar to the IRIS f15, I wasn't saying you were using it, it was merely an observation. I apologize if you took it the wrong way and found the need to jump down on me.
2. Yea that looks IDENTICAL to the IRIS F-15 Strike Eagle payware model for FSX.... right down the the tail numbers and sounds..... tsk tsk.....
3. what kind of fps are you getting on the ground vs. the air? Are you on a multiplayer server? Are there lots of objects in the mission? Is there a lot of AI flying around? There could be several dozen reasons why your fps are "low." We would need more info from you to help you out.
4. I dont know fellas, I was told by several guys that right now there is a server running DCS world that has 2 HUMAN players on it flying a tight formation in...... F-15 Strike Eagles..... Makes you wonder.......
5. how heavy are you? are to over 100% load? I have had that issue if I have an overweight bird with an unrealistic loadout onboard.
6. any possible way to take these files. Say a T-80 battalion that you have "seperated" into multiple templates, and make one big template. I am trying to save myself some time and have the STB80 HQ, STB80 Tank Company 1, STB80 Tank Company 2, STB80 Tank Company 3, and STB80 Supply Platoon all in one template to place on map so that I am able to make it easier to move them about on the map. Is there some way to do it? Whats the quickest way? Thanks for the help and GREAT WORK on this. I have been using it alot for my missions. I just end up making one big group that consists of your current multiple groups, for one battalion and "tweaking" the numbers a little to save on FPS and stability.
7. Im glad you liked that mission. That was the first one Ive ever done for DCS. Its a shame that DCS isnt more multiplayer stable. Sucks to get a few hours into a mission like that one and have it crash. If there are more missions youd like to see me write just hit me up. Ive got some free time on my hands and need some new ideas. If you like that one hop on TS and d/l one of my others. The new ones are even more challenging then that 7 parter ;) I think we managed to clear Liberator in about 6 hours on Wargame Labs a few weeks ago. You are correct. There are all sorts of fun stuff to hit at Mozdok. That part of the mission usually lasts for atleast 2-3 hours. Just a quick question. What version do you have? I have an updated version that has the proper triggers for those bombers now. Hop on our TS and download it from the editing room. A few more tweaks and Ill soon be releasing it to the public. Here is a link to is on our website for those interested. Would love to hear some community feedback on this one. http://wargamelabs.com/download.php?view.196
8. I downloaded this tool and have it installed. I am running into a problem that when I download your .miz folder example I have all the a/c there as well as the ground forces. The issue is your "placeholder" for the triggered actions that is way up northwest has nothing in the script its just a mortarman named slmodman or there abouts. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help. Also I am trying to have two task at once, I can see the first task under the -stl and -st# I can only see one task in the list. I have a issue also that once the task 1 is complete it doesnt remove itself from the -stl, I am at a loss as to how to have two tasks at once as well as removing the task once its dead or destroyed.
9. Ive tried just about anything, problem I run across is sometimes they will come to a deep section of the river and some will cross it, some wont. I am going to try the smaller groups. Thing is I want 2 tank battalions to get into a nice battle and when half of them stay on one side and the other half traverse the river it makes it near impossible to achieve the results I want.
10. No kidding right? Man it is trick to get them to do anything once it comes down to a bridge, even with them going slow
11. nevermind I did this at 4 am musta not been paying attention, I tried it this afternoon and you are correct. No human was able to join that slot, it was just a bunch of AI.
12. Speed how are you not a Beta tester and some of these others are?????? WOW dude you are indeed a god among men!
13. they are crossing the border in NW Georgia, they can use the bridges but they get clogged and since that river leads all the way to the mountains and must be deep they just head east to the mountains for HOURS, I dont have that kind of time to spare for this mission. Just need a better AI from ED I guess
14. I had this same issue which I solved recently. I had farp x at the beginning of the mission. All was great, then when my forces advanced to a certain point I basically created 4 more helo slots at farp y for players to join and then deactivated my original group of helos that were "joinable" at the beginning of the mission. So depending on when you joined the mission you either started at Farp x or Farp y. hope this helps
15. So I am developing a convoy mission and I am having a heck of a time making my AI stay in a convoy and crossing bridges. It seems they get all bunched up and stuck on them half the time. What is the "trick" to getting them to properly cross a bridge in a orderly fashion? I have the column going a whopping 5 kts when approaching the bridge and they still manage to get all bunched up and half of them get themselves into a situation where they wont even cross the bridge. Please help!
16. I have the newest versions of BOTH sims. Even reinstalled everything again today and still have this issue
17. I have a brand new copy of DCS: BS2 all up to date as well as a fresh install of DCS:A-10c all up to date and I am trying to install the "DCS-BS2_Russian_Soldier_Hotfix" and when install it it says "A-10C version 1.1.1.0 EN should be installed" and then just closes the installer Problem is that I HAVE that version installed on my HD and this is not recognizing it. What do I do?
18. Thanks Speed. I am downloading the Slmod as we speak. Going to read up and see if I cant get the hang of that mod. Ive heard great things about it. I was wondering if destroying these building where the power lines end at will actually "shut the lights off" in the town. Is there a mod that actually brings "life" to the power grid?
19. Thanks again guys. I was thinking that I would have to do something along these lines.
20. I am trying to write a mission where an AI drops a GBU on one of the "transformer stations" on the map (the building at the end of a power line) I am having an issue though as the AI will drop a GBU and hit it every time but how do I set this up so that when that building on the map is destroyed it sets off a trigger or a condition or something that says "well done building destroyed, blah blah blah, mission success!" I am at a loss. Please help! Thanks in advance Mike Shabo
21. That did it, thank you so much!
22. Wow that was fast! thanks I will give it a shot and let you know how it works
23. Ok guys Ive read several posts on here as well as the manual and I keep running into a problem. The premise is this. I have 10 a-10 all piloted by humans. I have a zone put down on a taxiway that they have to go through to get to the runway.... When any of the pilots go through that zone it kicks off a trigger that says "good luck, blah blah blah..." as well as a ogg file one time. I have made said ogg file as well as used the included ogg files that come with the game and still am not having any luck. I have included a screen shot in this post. The weird thing is that its not even setting off the "message to coalition" nor the sound files, no matter what one I choose. I need your guys help please. See included photobucket link to see the trigger itself. http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n154/shabo328/Launcher2012-03-2314-10-55-49.jpg Thanks!
24. glad I went out and downloaded the english version , without a CD without a box, for MORE money that the actual DVD version....thats a little backwards, but o well. Now I too have a boxed version and the downloaded version.......:mad:
25. I agree I wouldnt buy it, Id rather part it all out with what I want as apposed to the "ceaper" stuff that most of these pre-buiilts like this are, but this isnt a bad deal for those interested...... not me though:thumbup:
