  1. Posting a track Yes the ALT-HOLD is coming on and the FD is off. In this tack I didn't set trim what so ever. And you'll see I tried to the hover mode multiple times with pretty much the same result.
  2. I'm at a loss for figuring out why when I go to hover (when I'm at a near manual hover) why the helo goes ballistic on me and does anything BUT remain in the spot it should be. I've read the manual many times, founds a few posts about it and don't understand what I'm missing or doing wrong. I created a mission only my k-50 (taking off from runway) and no waypoints. Proceed to take off, create some forward speed. Then proceed to slow down to a near hover, making sure I'm below 40km/h and neutralizing any yaw. I double check that the ROUTE - DESCENT switch is in the neutral position. Then press the magical HOVER button, I can see the overhead panel "hover" light go off. Let go of the cyclic stick. My hud changes to show the spot where I initiated the hover and how much deviation has happening. Now comes the entertaining part, where the k-50 proceeds to pitch up or down or bank left or right. The square on my hud is no longer in the center and the k-50 starts to go on like a raging bull till the point where a crash is unavoidable. Or in some cases I don't crash, I just end up moving completely away from the hover point in a direction that is perpendicular to the k-50. I even tried resetting the trim before I initiate hover mode with no success. So I'm at a loss and have no idea what is going on or what I have to do. Anyone else having the same problem? Or any suggestions?
  3. You were having trouble getting the game to stretch to your 2nd monitor. I too had the same problem. Had to set my game to FULLSCREEN mode. Worked for me.
  4. Yeah the TrackIR solution is great but not everyone can shell out the cheddar just yet. There is a way to create views (in the cockpit) and map them to controls/keys. I did it once in LOMAC and I'm pretty sure you can do it in BS as well. It's real helpful for a quick snap view of a cockpit instrument panel to remind yourself of the last position of a switch. Because if you zoom out all the way to get a full view of the cockpit, as awesome as it looks, I can barely see the HUD text let alone aim with it. I'm actually about to create some snap views for myself. When I figure it out I'll post the steps. The next thing I'd love to do is to use my multi-monitor setup so that, when I create a view of an instrument panel, I can have that view show up on my second monitor, so that it's just a quick glance to the right, rather than me losing my default viewing position for a brief amount of time.
  5. Try this thread. I used this to get my setup to work: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=36551&highlight=camera+shkval One tip is to make sure you are running in full screen mode.
  6. I was able to get the Shkval and ABRIS to appear on my second monitor as separate displays. However is it possible to get/add more views of cockpit panels to the multi-monitor option?
  7. Thanks for the response. Yes the rotary wheel (on the x45 button panel is says rotary switch). ZaltysZ have you been able to assign buttons in the black shark interface and the SST and have both of them work? My experience so far has been if I assign buttons in the black shark interface any buttons I assign in the SST do not work. If I unassign all buttons in the black shark interface then my button assignments in the SST work.
  8. My original post may have been too long winded. Has anyone had any difficult or ran into any problems getting their rotary switch to work in Black Shark. And if you managed to solve it, what did you have to do?
  9. Hello, I have a Saitek x45 flight stick and I'm trying to map controls to my rotary switch(s). Tried to map the rotary switch(s) in the game's options -> controls menu. Every button is detected except for the 2 rotary switches and the Mode switch. I'm wondering if 1) is it possible to map the rotary switch(s) to any of the buttons? 2) whether it's possible to use the mode switch button(s) to act as a 'modifier'? I have the latest drivers for the flight stick and I downloaded the latest (beta) version of the SD6 programming software (not sure if that latter makes a difference). All of the key assignment that I've done so far have been from with in Black Shark and not do SD6; and I noticed that in the case of mapping keys through one of the interfaces, it is either one or the other not both. For example, if I unassign all of my x45 buttons in Black Shark, then I'm able to use the 'key press'and 'macro' options to map keys. But I can't do both (not sure why that is the case exctly). Another thing I noticed is that there is a Axis Tune button but it's always disabled for me and I've gone through all of the keys. The collective and cyclic were already mappted to the throttle and stick respectively. No configuration had to be done on my part. However, I wanted to set up some dead zones for all of my axis. If anyone has found a work around of if I'm not doing something please let me know. Thanks.
