So I've been playing A-10c since release, and I upgraded my system for it, and in the reformat and everything I have lost my cd key from my digital purchase of Black Shark. Am I screwed? I want to fly the Shark again!

I have been using the 23rd from England... The A10 is Green camo, with a mouth and teeth up front. I am in love with the scheme.

Alright, but I just started playing a mission I got here last night, and I am forced to use the radio correctly. I went into the ME for that mission, and I still don't see how he is forcing me to use it properly. I think the mission is Separatist Aggression.

I see that option for me personally, in "my" options, but where is it in the ME?

I beg to differ. I can communicate with tower for startup no matter what freq I am set to. I can even talk to the ground crew without having to manipulate the intercom buttons. The radio is in simple mode...

I want to force my mission to use the non-simple radio system. Right now I see all the airfields and Ground control on the list, I want the player to have to set the radio to the correct channel... Can someone tell me what I have missed in the manual?

But dont you find that you are stick forward hard when cruising?

Yes Curvature. Are you using the autopilot system to stabilize your flight? If not, do so. Make sure that your NAV switch is on next to your IFF toggle and switch, and click the 4 blue lightup buttons below that on the bottom panel. If you are not doing that, you will wobble a lot. About trim. I think... this is my opinion I dont know if its true, that you can over trim. It can get so far off center that it does not act right. Lately, when I do anything agressive, I click the trim reset, and smoothly gain control quickly... lol. But after that, it is very responsive, you can even trim a few times to get her stable. You just have to keep in mind, when you trim you are telling those 4 blue lights you click, to control heading, pitch and roll. and alt a little. So whatever you are telling trim to hold, you are going to fight when you try to move. Either way, trim often, its is a active thing you need to do your whole flight. P.S. When you are going to fight... you can always turn off the "Heading Hold" blue button so it does not hold that... you are more manuverable then as well. I also land a lot better with it off.

The first thing to do is "add the curve". Go to the singleplayer, then options. Now, click the tab at the top that says "control" Then there are 2 dropdowns on the left top of the screen. In the first one, make it say KA-50 Real. The one next to that, select the top-ish one, called "axis commands). Now this is the setup you are talking about... Its easy. The ones to work on are, Flight Control Cyclic Pitch Flight Control Cyclic Roll Flight Control Rudder What you do is click on them, then the "axis tune" button on the lower right will light up. Click it while selecting the one you want to work on. This is what I have set... Deadzone, deadspace in the middle of the stick. Mines 5 I dont mess with Saturation. I have my curve at the bottom set to 20... I hope that helps a little. Also, make sure your Nav switch, next to the IFF toggle and switch is ON. If it is not, then your stability stuff does not work.

Alright. I have been playing flight sims for a long time. Out of every one that I played, DCS: Black Shark has done something I have been waiting for all of these years. Its hard. I have so much to do to fight and stay alive its amazing. This is the first video game for me EVER, that took a week before I killed something. I could have rushed learning the startup, but I wanted to know what I was was doing as well as how. I now know all of the systems for running the helo and am about to work on learning the navigation system. The Editor, and user made missions from a active community. Just those 2 things are enough for a 98 score. Add graphics, playability on older systems, there is another 5 points. There are many things to say good about the game for sure, I can write a huge post, but those are the positive highlights! The Negitive, No hiding behind trees? No RWS, modeled or not, without tree cover what hope can we have? (my opinion) No handheld manual (I know its coming, but still) No Dynamic campaign All in all, thats pretty petty stuff when you hold it up against what ED has given us. I give it a 95!

I wonder if that is my problem... I will change my settings, and rewrite the files for 1024x768 x2... It makes me sad, but If I dont like it, then I will give up the second monitor.

Mine doesnt... it should not be this hard... I am about to give up and just use my shiny new widescreen. I have never had one before, I think I should be just happy with what I have.
