  1. Now its my turn to disagree:D. Airspeed is the speed of an aircraft relative to the air. So there is a difference if the air surrounding me is moving ahead me or from the side or from behind. If im moving with the air my airspeed is in relative to my groundspeed lower than when i moving against the air. But to keep it simple, your groundspeed is your airspeed plus or minus the wind.
  2. The ground speed shows your real speed over ground, like in your car. The airspeed shows just how fast the air is in front of your aircraft (sorry dont know how to explain it better in english). For example you fly with 100 km/h against the wind direction and the wind blows with 25 km/h, then your ground speed shows 100 km/h and your air speed shows 125 km/h.
  3. Yes Evry new module of DCS will include a new Aicraft.
  4. As Shrubbo said yes it is possible (the Bo-105 was the first chopper which could perform a looping btw) but it has absolut no practical use, but it looks cool and thats what counts:D
  5. The answer is in his first post
  6. But that would never lead to an engine out, thats the point that makes me wonder. There are just 2 possibilitys why an engine went out, 1. its gets no air, 2. it gets no fuel. Woud be really interessting if you can reproduce it.
  7. Thats right but 3000m schoud be no problem at all. Maybe when the Helicopter is heavy loaded and the oat is very high but in cold conditions and light weightet 3000m is not much. So i would gues it was a pilot failure in some kind.
  8. In a real plane the Pilot can set the markers (yellow, blue, white) manually wherever he want and every pilot sets them different. So unfortunately i cant tell to which points there are set.
  9. Thats also an idea, and without question the much cooler way than to approach with an angle. Has anyone an idea what the real procedure is?
  10. Thanks so far and how do i approach the target correct? If i flow straight to it, it gets out of sight under my Airplane and i have to guess when im in the right distance so i approach in an angle and dive then in an curve down to it but no idea if this is the correct procedure.
  11. I tried the last days to use unguided bombs with the Su-25 but the Su is driving me crazy. I just can't figure out why sometimes i have a amber light and sometimes not. So im looking for a guide which shows exactly how to engange the target and drop the bomb. Or as an alternative a manual which describes how the calcuation for the avionics works Second question, is there a way to drop the bomb without the amber light manually? Thank you in advance!
