Had a system last month that DCS skins that were reflective like Tom Weiss skins should be and looked great. Had a problem with my computer had to totally upgrade my CPU to an i5 8400 and Nivida video card. Now the same skins look dull non reflective..... the graphics card is Geforce 1050 TI 4 GB which is bigger than the previous video card. PLease look at my attached setting pages to see if any thing can help get the reflection in the aluminium P-51D. Please advise. Thank you

Flying level...I can't seem to ever catch up to a B-17. I thought P-51 is faster than a B-17??? Flaps not engaged.... Throttle all the way up..... Prop RPM -Plever all the way up... WEP seems to do nothing.... What am I doing wrong? fuel mixture???????? Please advise

No snark taken...it's a HUGE simulation with mega tons of learning involved, most of which comes in small tidbits. I will start within the games controls. I was just use to Cougar Thrust Master (Old connection game bus not USB) where more can be accomplished too on the stick itself. Thank you for your thoughts!!

In the CH Control Manager trying to get in DCS.... in-cockpit to switch between the cockpit front view and the no cockpit front view. LALT F1 should do it but cockpit front view only shows. What do I use to bind two keystrokes togeather?

Gentlemen, I have TrackIR5 that I use in all my DCS modules. I am looking for a single way to keystroke the TrackIR5 on and off and map that to my HOTAS ....is there a way? Other than spinning my ball cap with my clip reflectors backwards real fast to disable the TrackIR5. Thank you!

Gaining ground Question.... in gaining ground on an opponent above you and way ahead after engine is maxed out, would you suggest doing a slight yo-yo type maneuver of not more than 500-1000 feet dip to gain speed or just stay true and level till you get to around 325 MPH then slightly gain the altitude on him? Also do not use any form of flaps to gain altitude I am assuming. Thank you.

Days of trying head to head with a 109...we converge.... I have the height advantage every time, engine set 45@2700 (max continuous) I dive in at last second to hopefully jump in on his tail...he shoots past me and climbs a little and I chase for hours eating his exhaust never closing in. I use my HUD top of screen to gage the horizon hoping for speed increase adjust RPM and MP I use a little, yo-yo with the horizon again hoping for speed, he climbs higher I get further, typical!! Or With the in game instant combat/intercept I sneak up on the cargo jets down just one.... the rest scatter and again I play chase for hours loosing distance. I did get help (and thank you) with adjusting the engine management to get speed but it is not working for anything that flys that I go up against (hot air balloon included). I fly with everything set to easy because I had trouble with constant spinning ever time I banked the wings and wings tearing off...not good. I've flown Falcon 4.0, Il2,USAF, LOMAC, BOB, Pacific Fighters, EF2000, lots of Jane's titles and tons of others since 1996. Cougar joystick. I guess this one for me is too much to handle. I have been battling this air to air combat problem with this particular game for months. I am wearing out. I could just stick to air to ground and pray nothing flys near me. I do want to thank you for all the help, you are all a bunch of good guys, obviously better pilots than me...my hats off to you!

Trying to get in the fight! It looks backwards to me due to the size of the cockpit levers involved, as I was told you set the manifold pressure first with the larger throttle lever....but actually fly the plane for speed by managing the RPM, with the "smaller" propeller pitch lever. Just with movies seen and with other planes watched they power-up using a throttle type lever....I had all ways in the past associated the speed and power with a throttle type lever. I guess with the P-51 it is not that way. I have had problems keeping up with anything with the P-51. Now I am trying to regulate a 45@2700 .....It feels like a hot air balloon could out run me. I go for height and dive in on targets but haven't got the timing right then its a loosing chase event. Please advise. Thanks

Looked through the key commands and can't find the command for operating the propeller pitch - RPM lever. I have the throttle mapped to my thrustmaster but need the Prop-pitch ....please advise. Thank you.

Non flyable by player planes I understand waiting on DSC flyable modules as they come, when they come and happy for all the effort that went into it, but sure would be nice to have WWII non player flyable type planes for a little feel of 1945. Some of the cargo planes in the game now are non flyable by players ment to shoot at or escort, why not a non player flyable bomber or prop plane. Just want a little tiny touch of history sprinkled somewhere to tap into missions with out P-51 totally alone vs 2012 warfare only. Please don't get offended... just my opinion. Thank you,

I have tried to get my speed up from 245 MPH. I have adjusted the two levers that I know to adjust it the throttle handle in conjunction with the P-knob knowing they are interrelated. Been told, set for around 45MP@2700RPM but me at 2700RPM I get 57MP. Is there a third knob to adjust? I can have 45MP but can't get engine to 2700RPM and visa versa. I have noticed a rotation with the throttle leverwhen I hit / like as in a motorcycle throttle does that give it a little extra boost? Please advise. Thank you.

Fix when I hit ctrl + esc I go to desktop...once in desktop I go back into game then button will work.

In missions when done..... I hit ESC which brings up the dialouge box to exit. When I hit the exit the button it will not take! The dialouge box shows a "game paused" in a yellow statement on the top... so I hit PAUSE/BREAK which continues the game but the dialouge box remains on top of the now running game. I hit ESC again to exit and the same results as before the exit button will not take. Please advise Windows 7 64bit, 4GIG ram, Geforce 250GTX/1 GIG ram, cougar HOTAS

I have got the in cockpit amament panel switch set to rockets but what actually fires the rockets? I havE bomb release at Lalt+SPACE AND Ralt+SPACE but what about rockets? Please advise

Being new to P-51 my biggest problem is in quick missions intercepting cargo planes. I come in close, down one plane and all the rest scatter or keep flying straight. NOW… I can’t catch up to anything! With full throttle, no flaps and I can’t seem get over 250-260 except in a dive which will put me on the deck with my intercept thousands of feet above me and out pacing me distance wise. What lever/switch do I need to enable/adjust to get some speed? Surely 250-260 is not the best a P-51 can offer in level flight? If it is adjust the carberator...where is that..how?? Please advise. thank you

Need key strokes to keep plane straight in takeoff going down the runway using keyboard....I have a cougar joystick only with no peddals.
