  1. Cookies are fine for other sites. As an eccomerce software developer myself I would lean towards a php script issue in setting up the transfer to the card page.
  2. I'm a Goth. So dead things is fine with me anyway.... And right now the flight sim scene has never been deader. After all we only have FC2, RoF, Strike Fighters V2, Il-2, OFF, BOB2, Black Shark, Falcon 4 (OF, FF, BMS? etc.) and - insert big list of other titles here - in either active support, or community support. And just the A10, BOB Sow, Seven G Hornet,Thunderworks, Combat Helo, plus anything Lead Pursuit or Fighter Ops have going (ok, may be a little be overdead those last two...) on the horizon. Yep, never been deaer. So I'm off back to my coffin to smile about how dead it all is.
  3. Tried to purchase FC2 numerous times in IE8 on Vista 64 last night and this morning but the Purcahse process jammed on the Billing confirm details page - i.e. the one where Proceed takes you to card select. Same result every time - about 30-40% progress bar then just stops. Tried with Firefox and got through and completed the purcahse straight away with no problems. Although I did note that it had two copies of FC2 listed in the Card details page, so may have had the IE8 one alredy present, and the firefox one was added to it. Either way watch out folks and check the details. So looks like you have an IE8 or php problem that could be preventing customers being able to purcahse FC2.
  4. Stuck on the order confirm page - can't even get the dang thing bought, never mind downloaded. Bar gets to half loaded for next page and just sits there.
  5. That sure would be nice. or fixing the weak centre play at the very least.
  6. Got a Cougar and frankly not inpressed with it. Significant center play - such that fine control around the center is almost impossible. Trying to get the pipper just right for a deflection shot etc. is a pain. The solution is to take the stick apart and 'mod' it, or spend as much again, if not more, on a professional mod such as FSSB. Sorry if I sound sarcastic, but I truly believe that for what I paid it should work right out of the box, and work well. This is not some 5.99 walmart cheapo stick after all. Never had a problem with my Old Saitek, or with any of the CH stuff I've bought - Yoke Quad throttle and Rudders. But the much vaunted and oh so superior Coguar just plain sucks quality wise. Gosh it's heavy, realistic looking, and feels good. But if they don't work well out of the box, then that just makes them a nice looking pile of junk. Cheers Stuntie.
  7. My first thought at seeing this is WOW. My second thought - I hope he Patents it fast! Got switches and LED's etc, so will be off to get a WII-Mote and try this out for sure. Cheers Stuntie.
  8. Get a joystick. Seriously! You will fly 10 times better, and get much more out of it than trying to fly with a mouse. you will soon start to wonder why you ever flew with a mouse. It really does make a world of difference with this Sim. It doesn't need to be a big flash multi buttoned one, a basic joystick will for now. You will not regret it.
