People who are saying they are going to bring to DCS an A1H skyraider, the skyraider that’s aircraft shown is an AD1 This model was used in korea not Vietnam, the A1H had speed brakes on the sides behind the trailing edge of the aircraft, editors please do your research properly ie get your facts right.

I KNOW IM ON THE WRONG PAGE SO SORRY I COULD NOT FIND THE CORRECT PLACE TO ASK FOR HELP.. I have tried several times to install the OPEN BETA 2.7.12.23362, it seems to download but when I click on the icon to play, the loading sequence begins then it fails and just disappears, this has never happened before. Help please

I have been unable to start the open beta, only the release is working so far, does anybody know if the problem is with my system or is it something else

did you mention the Razor Back did not have the the cut down rear fuselage ?? this was why it was called the JUG as it looked like a milk bottle. check your grammar or facts.

capt_bob aka on game Excaliber.HI Flying Fighters.this Basic Collective looks pretty nifty, and is much better than mine, before my warthog throttle malfunctioned I it bolted to the side of an old chair with some plastic pipework, it worked great. Next month ill be buying a virpil throttle. But I still would like a proper collective with a twist throttle. Keep us informed with your current project. And see you on DCS ..Excaliber ..

hi all,I also have this problem. I contacted thrustmaster,and have learnt this is a hardware problem, and a unit inside the throttle will need to be replaced. The driver update will NOT sort out this problem. You have a number of options..1 send the unit for repair to the recommended engineer either in Europe or the usa..$90 is the cost. But if you need to replace the defective board inside, this will add more costs. I dont know how expensive this will be. Also the cost to send the throttle will cost me around $70..so I personaly find this not viable due to the cost..so I am replacing my throttle with another, hopefully a better maybe the VIRPIL..good luck to you all.

HI all,I keep sending my help request to the wrong location,but hopefully this request gets to general forum.. I have been trying for over a week to set up a weapon practice mission for the F16 on the mission editor.. But when all is done I try to fly the mission but find none of my assigned buttons work,my foot brakes left/right dont work,and neither the gun/missiles/bombs will release from the aircraft,for some unknown reason in the top right corner of my screen a LARGE round circular radar appears, This only happens with the F16..The Av8 harrier works perfectly,and no big radar on screen. I notice when I go to normal servers everything works great with bombs/rockets/gun..its just the mission editor the problem persists.does anyone else have this issue. what is this radar thing appearing on my screen..I"ll try to post a photo or video if I can find out how to do this..im not too savy at this unfortunately. thanks for reading this and any help advice.

Hi all. Can someone advise me how to get to the bottom of an issue I have with my mission editor, After following advice on YOUTUBE,setting up a F16 bomb/missile mission,I have found it impossible to launch missile or bombs,all my button mapping dont work. after launching the mission, strangely on the top right of my screen is a large clock type radar,I believe this is causing my problem,the foot brakes dont work either,on the same mission if I jump into another aircraft, say for example..the harrier,all works perfectly,as I said this only happens when I am in the F16. any advise would be greatly appreciated..:thumbup:

Can anybody help,me solve a problem I have in the Mission editor. after setting up a mission, armed aircraft with bombs missiles etc ,got airborne go to target air/ground,unfortunately neither the bombs or rockets will release,two things I have noticed..1 the foot brakes dont work on the ground in fact I cant seem to use my assigned buttons on my joystick or throttle consul,also on the right side of my screen is some sort of radar..it seems to be happening only with the F16..all perfect with the AV8 Harrier.. im on open Beta setting SIM..i"ll appreciate any advise :thumbup:

I have the same problem But with the F16C,nobody seems to have a solution..all works ok on proper servers,but on mission editor..and instant action..useless..:(

Hi all I was wondering if anyone else is finding it impossible to drop Bombs shoot missiles or fire guns with the F16 on the mission editor..im using BETA,no such problem with AV8,im new to the F16,I have no problem with the above problem on servers..also no luck on Instant action either with the F16..any explanation ??? thanks to those who answer my request for help..:thumbup:

Harrier issue resolved. Firstly to all who answered my request for help with the problem I had with no heading bug..altitude ladder..I apologise for the long delay in thanking you all for all your help and support. I would like to inform you all I have managed to resolve the issue,by going to controls/advanced controls..and ticking the mini map box..this solved the issue immediately .. so many many thanks for your help:thumbup::thumbup:

If anyone has been having problems with the HUD not showing the altitude ladder,and the heading bug.go to controls,special,and tick mini map,this will solve the problem..and also thanks to all those people who saw my many request for help in solving this problem..and ignored my requests..nice to know how helpfull people are on these forums..NOT:mad:

HARRIER PROBLEMS I dont have on the head up display the heading bug or the alltitude ladder,so whats gone wrong with my AV8 module,also no artificial horizon..:helpsmilie: auto start nor manual start solve3s this..I bought the early access is this the issue..does anybody know :(

I am not doing well posting on these forums,so if i am posting in the wrong place im sorry, I need help with an issue I have had for months..the issue is with the INS alignment,which when completed has not finished properly.. on the head up display the HEADING BUG is missing..so is the ALTITUDE LADDER..and the ARTIFICIAL HORIZON..the same thing happens even in quick action game.. can anybody help me with this..I am considering erasing the AV8 module and repurchasing a fresh AV8 module if this will solve the problem.any help/advise will be greatly appreciated. :thumbup:

HI,i have had this problem for months,so its about time i asked for expert help,as i cant seem to find a solution myself, The problem is with the INS alignment,for some reason when the alignment happens,on the head up display HUD.the artificial horizon..heading bug is missing..this happens when I autostart or manual start..the same on release and Beta..I reinstalled but still the same probs..Youtube no help..so please someone help me resolve this problem..:thumbup:

where is the artificial horizon on the HUD on the Harrier..its not showing up..can anybody explain..advice how to bring it up..I suspect its a BUG as its missing on Release version as well.. auto start,manual start,wont bring it up on the HUD.:thumbup:

BRAVO DCS designers :thumbup:for bringing to us the fabulous P47 Thunderbolt,all I need now is the "Chance vaught Corsair" and Ill be as happy as a pig in the Brown stuff :thumbup

CH47 CHINOOK CH47 CHINOOK would be popular.. why did the produce the Yak 52 and the pits..instead of the chance vaught corsair..or the P47 thunderbolt..after all this is DCS digital combat simulator..those are civi aircraft..:(:thumbup:
