Tacca do you know for the VR how you would set it to be in just one eye? Just keep messing with the adjustments until it there?

My game just crashes to desktop when I try to install the Jeff. Yes OB build, cleaned and no mods on. Ran a repair no luck. Just bought the thing and I want to fly it! :(
Update, the fix for me was to launch DCS without using Skate's updater tool so there must be a hose up in the pathway or something.

A-4 works with SRS, you just need to use the tab as you would for Flaming cliff aircraft, but it won't work with the 339. Maybe Cribob needs to add it to SRS.

Sorry if this has been asked, I searched and didn't find anything: Has anyone found a way to make Simple radio work with the 339?
I tried EZ comms like we had to do with the A-4, still no luck.

Sounds about right Combat, it centers back to the center of the stick travel. I used it once to see what it would do. It pitched my nose straight up and got all wonky, almost like the "S" Suicide button in the SU-27. Never used it again.

At our meet in Atlanta Fargo was quick to jump in the Huey and ask a lot of questions. During the flight he was front and center looking at and calling out our speed and all. I think we have found a good balance from real life to what you can do in DCS here at BSD.

SNIP: I would definitely encourage everyone interested in flying the A-4E-C in multiplayer to consider joining a virtual squadron which flies it. I know there are many out there who do.
CSG-1 vVMA-131 is one that I know of.

Can I play that in single player but starting a multiplayer server on DCS ? Is the only way to have the A-4E cockpit with clicable controls "on place"
I'm looking at the .txt files of that mission, and I see you have to edit it to select what you want.
I think this is for veterans, I'm already having problems in simple missions, just to undestand what is the objective, how to reach it, etc ...
What you need to do is spawn in an A-4 in the mission then go back to select role (in Single player) pick different plane, Select role again and go back to the A-4. That will align your VR so you can click on the buttons. Here is a practice mission, you spawn on the ground, Air 20 miles behind the boat or in the Air with an AI lead you can fly formation with to the boat. Nothing else to do in there but practice formation or landing on the carrier. Select Role(A-4), Select role (FA-18 or F-15, Harrier) then Select role back to the Scooter and you will be set in VR.

I was doing the mission where you have to bomb the bridges and after taking 2 rounds of AAA on the first bridge, Jester goes "I'm ejecting". Sure enough, a second later the canopy blows and I look back to a perfectly functional jet and an empty cockpit. Thanks for sticking by me, buddy!
Same here! I was like "Where you going its just a few bullets?" Flew home in a convertible, Thanks buddy!:thumbup:

We have seen that with the Alpha version of 1.03. The way I used to fix it was: Copy the saved games A-4E-C folder to a safe place then remove it from saved games, install the new version. I didn't lose my bindings and nothing was red in controls.

I have the Warthog as well. I have always held the trim in until I get it pointed where I want it. Route mode is your auto pilot running off your PVI so if no WP is selected or PVI is off the computer doesn't do anything. No need to switch it on if the PVI isn't running.

You can, but you also have to swap the exterior model as well.

Where did you add it Snako? C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries? Then activate it in the special tab?
EDIT: Just checked mine, same issue. Something has changed.

Dresoccer4 have you tried the A-4? Sure its a mod with SFM but its as complete as can be for not having the SDK. And getting better all the time. The A-4 guys just keep making it better. Almost all of the systems work, Nav, Auto pilot and so on. The thing handles quite well. Trim is a bit of WIP but overall its very well done. Its a clickpit that can carry a ton of ordinance . It doesn't fly like its on rails and it takes time to spool the engine up in flight to adjust speed so it does not feel like a "Video game plane" in that respect. No disrespect meant I'm just asking if you tried it yet.

Yep everything is where it is supposed to be. It just not functioning. If anyone can post a cockpit screen grab, showing what it should look like with RWR, I would be gratefull.
Sound only, when you get close to the bad guys. For now.

Yeti you tested with Fargos? I can edit it but to me it seems as the VR is zoomed all the way up to the green ring. I had some success moving it out but not sure what else to do.
