You can change colours by editing R G B in DCS-SRS-Overlay.dlg in Saved Games\DCS\Scripts

Thanks to the double rotor system, a flight without tail is surprisingly stable.
Same if the wing stubs get damaged. You can easily bring a Ka-50 that only has the chassis and the rotors left back home :D Supposed the rest of the aircraft is still okay.
Imagine that happens in a single-rotor helicopter, happy crash-landing.
Happy auto rotating! :lol:

I fly with both groups, BSD for choppers and 906th for fixed wing. Great bunch of guys and the squads do work together. More co-op than online server missions but worth checking out. Most of us are VR pilots and fly what you have listed. We use Simple Radio and discord. Have a look at both. New guy friendly and you're not required to have X,Y or Z map, A/C or chopper, fly what you have. RL pilots to help train you up if needed. Very organized and structured. No requirement to attend a squad night, just fly when you can. Very laid back.

There was a mission to load with all objects in SP before getting on MP to help with load times, I saw it on the FB page I think but can't find it now. Anyone got it and wanna share?

Devrim what about the Gazelles? I had issues getting them to work in 2.2, the batch file would run, I'd turn them on through OVGME and ..nothing.

There will be for sure. We didn't get the turn out we thought, but for those that did show up it was a lot of fun to just mess around, pose for a group shot. Then we got in the air and shot at each other.
83 votes "Yes let do a group shot" on Facebook and we had about 15 on line. Thanks to all that showed up and the 59th Ravens for hosting, it was a lot of fun. Next time Maestro and I will, plan it a little bit better, give more notice before it starts and have it more organized.
It was a lot of fun to get together with other pilots that I may not fly with on a server on a day to day thing. My screen shots are not good(VR) Maestro had a few good ones to share.
So say so long to 2.2./1. 5.8 and lets hope 2.5 is better.

True story when I got VR: Spawned in a KA-50, I have a space heater on the left of my chair when its cold. I opened the door on the KA-50 to lean down and turn the heater down!

2.5 is coming and Maestro and I thought we should get as many pilots together in one shot for the celebration of the end of 1.5 and 2.2 and the merger of 2.5
I picked 2.2 because I don't think any airfields in 1.5.8 can spawn every plane and chopper DCS has at once.
Nellis can.
Hosted by the 59th Ravens and streamed on Twitch. This event will start at 2pm EST Saturday the 27th. (Tomorrow, I know short notice)
The plan is to spawn in a plane or chopper of your choice, make your way to runway for "picture day" then we will taxi to the next runway for take off and a quick mass formation flight. (No shooting until formation is done, stay fenced out!)
There are Observer slots if you just want to film or take screenshots. Be careful with the print screen button though we don't want to crash the server!
After that there are Red and Blue bases for changing load outs and good old dogfighting.
Every one starts hot at Nellis.

'fixed' the problem that it was unreadable with NVG on.
and by fixed i mean its a bodge-job. i hi-jacked the 'Chaff Mode Switch' to hide/show a dark overlay so its not overly bright with NVG.
the Plus is that you can decide if you want to be NVG friendly or you want to peek under your NVGs to read it :)

Bought it, Alpha or not. I didn't even think about it, sure it sucks and blows but it hovers too! :P It's the El Camino of DCS ,not a chopper but a fixed wing that acts like a chopper. Just one cool plane.

I wonder if it's the Target script, I know the TQ is not under it but maybe it's messing with it. Have you tested it without running target? Other than that, I don't know.
My controls are set to sync at start and they do, if I have throttles at full, that's where they are at mission start. Very strange. If you do figure it out I'd like to know what it was.

I have almost the same setup but combat pro pedals. I do not run the target script and my CH TQ is what I use for the throttles. This is very strange. I don't cold start it like you, I turn a lot of other things on before the Ekran, now I have to go try it your way and see what happens. I'll Edit back with what I find.
EDIT: I tried it 5 different times and I can't get the Ekran Fail. I don't know what's up. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Hey Gizzy, that's what I'm using now. Works, one command will cycle it through all 3.. on, turn off header and off. See you Saturday mate!
