  1. I am trying to do wild weasel missions with mavericks. I am using the HTS to slew my TGP to a radar and then I use the mavericks in pre mode to disable the radar. However, when I designate the radar on the HTS, i cannot designate the next radar after I take the first one out. I will fly to another SAM and it wont let me designate that radar. After designating the first one i just cannot designate any other radars. My TGP will not slew to it. Is this a bug or something I'm missing?

  3. But still. That’s not very far. I know how Doppler works. I know you can’t hear from the front. But the fact in real life you can hear a fighter flying over at 30,000 feet but you can’t in DCS is annoying. Gun sounds don’t travel very far, jet sounds don’t travel very far, explosion sounds are too muffled at distance, etc. also, in some cases, you can’t hear the jet engines from behind the aircraft but you’ll hear the gun fire at that distance. It’s odd. Exactly. The sonic booms seem to not travel very far at all.
  4. Is it just me or should sounds travel a lot further than they do in game? Like the sounds of jets and guns. I hope this is something that will be worked on. Big thing on my wishlist.
  5. Does anyone else think the sound physics need worked on? Not the sounds themselves. I think the sounds are fantastic. I'm talking about the physics of the sounds. I think sound needs to travel a lot farther. You cannot even hear the A-10s gun past about a mile away when servicemen in Afghanistan have said they could hear the Hogs gun from up to 3 miles away or more. Also, you cannot hear fighter jets flying over at altitude either. A jet will flyby at low altitude, and once it gets past just over a mile you can't hear it. I'm sure a lot of you have been to airshows irl before and have heard and seen a fighter fly and once it gets far away you can still hear it. In fact, just yesterday there was an F-15E Strike Eagle in the pattern at the airport near my house and I could hear it on the upwind 6 miles away... I just think the sound physics really need worked on. Hopefully this is on a planned list somewhere. Happy flying

  7. Okay so I have been flying other aircraft. Flying the F/A-18C, no random inputs whatsoever and I have the same controls set up for gear and flaps as I do in the F-14. Although I will say this, it has been happening way less with the F-14. Hardly happens anymore. Once in a blue moon it will. And it never does it at high speeds. Only low and slow. Like turning final for the carrier. And sometimes the jester menu will randomly pop up during these times. Sometimes it pops up when he talks. But very rarely. Seems way better than it did when I started this thread. Now when I come in to land in the tomcat, it rarely messes up. Very rarely. But still there. Haven’t experienced it in the other jets. I love this module so much though. Never gets old getting her down on the deck with a 3 wire. Awesome job HB!
  8. Are you sure you didn’t apply too many Gs to the aircraft? That can damage the gyros.
  9. I think it would be wonderful if there was a way to get jester to repeat a step in the assisted startup, like if you missed it and didn’t hear what he said. I think that would be great! Fantastic module!
  10. No idea, but it seems after the update Wednesday the 20th of March, the problem for me has gone away. Made many successful carrier landings with the problem not happening at all in pattern and made successful AA refuelings. No problem at all. It was really strange.
  11. I'm having the same problem except mine is crashing a lot. Seems as if each time an enemy fires a missile at me, game closes. I can fire missiles fine but as soon as an enemy fires, game closes. It even closed when I was mid dogfight with an aggressor F/A-18C Lot 20 I was going against in the F-14. These crashes did not happen before the update.
  12. Just downloaded the new update. Went up in the F-14 against an enemy J-11. Soon as the J-11 fired a missile at me, the game crashed. Tried against two MiG-23s and as soon as one fired a missile at me, game crashed. EDIT: Seems as if the game is crashing a lot with this new update. Just crashed mid gun fight with aggressor F/A-18C Lot 20 i was fighting against in an F-14. Did not crash at all for me before update.

  14. I’ll have to try that too then. 15 minutes won’t be enough for me I’ll have to fly a few missions and do carrier landings because it would sometimes happen a lot and sometimes happen once or twice.
  15. The gear and flaps are bound to two of the 3 switches on the lower part of the throttle. The flaps are bound to the middle one and the gear is bound to the far right switch.
  16. Possibly, but it does not do this with any other modules. That’s why I’m confused.
  17. That’s odd. It happens to me the most in the carrier pattern. But yeah that’s what it does. Gear just randomly goes down without hitting anything. Same with flaps.
  18. I use the Saitex X56 Rhino. But what’s odd it only does it at low airspeed and hasn’t done it with any other modules. It has only done it with the tomcat which I find odd. And only at low airpseeds. It doesn’t do it all the time which I find strange. Could be what you said though. Not sure at this point. Oh, and it’s happening with the flap switch I have binded and the jester menu button I have binded. So it’s 3 different inputs that are messing up.
  19. Oh and one other thing! I have also had an issue with the jester menu sometimes randomly popping up. This happens rarely. Not hitting any buttons and it comes up. I checked on that to see if I had a double bind as well. Other than these minor issues I am having... FANTASTIC MODULE! I love it! You guys did an awesome job! And I also referenced the manual to make sure I wasn’t missing a weird setting.
  20. I checked and couldn’t find anything. I also found just a few hours ago that it was also making flaps go up or down at the same time as the gear was. No double bindings. It would happen without me even hitting a single button so that’s why I find it odd. Tonight it happened when I was on base for carrier. So idk what’s going on. Thanks for responding!
  21. I have been having an issue with the landing gear that is making landing and flying carrier patterns next to impossible. It seems at low air speeds, the landing gear sometimes just decides to go down on its own and sometimes goes up on its own. It has even done it when trying to connect with a tanker. But it doesn’t do it when I’m cruising around. Really odd. Maybe interference from the AI who is supposed to fly pilot when you sit in the RIO pit? If anyone knows, help would be appreciated. Guess it’s a bug that needs worked out or something.
