I know this is not in this thread but....if the pilot dies....you as a RIO only can eject yourself not chance to take control of the plane,right? -

he also said that he can only show a few seconds of the RIO. So maybe they just can't show more bc HS.

Not "autostart", but must be a short start up,you know 24 min to start a plane.. Top Gun would look totally different. "Launch Maverick and Merlin on ready five!" "Yes Siir,just wait 20 min!"

Just overlook the manual and I'm confused...flying or being RIO would be harder than I though.
