There are ships waiting to enter the Suez. Is the map out yet? Just kidding.
Getting close to finishing up the low-poly Commercial Vessels. I will release the High Poly Commercial Vessels shortly afterward. The larger ships are 400 meters or 1312 feet in length. Stay Tuned!

Hey Marroux, that's interesting.
So here's what I have found with regard to the EDMs. Some versions of the EDM 3DS Max are really sensitive. For example. There was one version of the EDM PLugin I used and every time I exported the mod from 3DS Max. The mod wouldn't appear in MV. So I tried another version and I was able to export the mod properly and it appeared in MV. So it all boils down to the version we're using.
Is there anyone else out there that's a helicopter player experiencing a significant amount of lag when flying off the flight deck of the USS Blue Ridge or the USS Oak Hill? Thanks.

Spino, I have scripted out the USS Fitzgerald to carry the RIM-67, RIM-161 & RIM-156 ER which has a range of 370 KM. One thing I don't know is exactly what weapons the Fitz is carrying now as there's only limited information out there about it. If I can get firm information I will upgrade to the latest weapons. She will definitely be more advanced than the FFGX.
I am always working on the FITZ no matter what else I have going.

Hey Guys! Hope all is well with you all.
In preparation for the release of the upcoming Sinai Map which is to be released soon, I will be creating a good number of Commercial vessels to fill the Suez Canal while also creating a couple of secret projects for you all to enjoy as well. So right now my focus is on commercial vessels along with a couple of warships. I will probably release the Commercial Vessels as a Bundle. Stay Tuned! Thanks for your patience!

Hey Guys! I have released USS Oak Hill LSD-51 ver 1.0.3. If the mod appears ok for you DCS. Then you don't have to download the latest update.
Changes Made:
--Removed the MASS Electronic Countermeasures from the mod's main Lua file which may cause the ship not to appear in DCS.
--Removed extra textures in 3ds Max.
Thanks for letting me know Eddie. I intended to remove it before release but forgot about it. Thanks again!

I will PM you Eddie. What I see sometimes are extra textures within 3DS Max and if I don't relink them they may appear amongst the textures.
Also, you mentioned the ship didn't appear in SIM. I will remove the MASS from the ship as it worked for some and not for others. Update coming! Thanks, Eddie!

Good Morning/Good Afternoon to you all. I hope everyone is doing well.
I have released USS Oak Hill LSD-51 version 1.0.2 Page one of forum #7. Thanks to Marroux for creating the ship's information file located in the Encyclopedia folder for all the ship mods.
One known issue that Marroux brought up is there may be some FPS drop while taking off from the Flightdeck as a player. He found that it was related to the LODS file. This is something we will have to research to find out why the LODS file cause FPS to drop.
If someone knows how to get each ship to display the livery name of the ship. PM me! Otherwise, all the ships from the livery will display the name of the USS Oak Hill.

At the moment I don't have any plans to create any Aircraft Carriers because of the time and effort it takes to create one. However, I may create one at some point just not in the near future because of all the AI Ship mods I have to create. I do think a Chinese Aircraft Carrier will fill the gap of missing Chinese ships.
My plan is to release the updated USS Oak Hill by week's end. I will create some liveries for her as well.

Hey Guys there has been a change of plans.
I have been putting off creating the USS Fitzgerald DDG-62 for far too long now. It's a mod I'm passionate about creating because I commissioned and served five years aboard her. Half of the time-consuming modeling part has been completed which is the weapons. Once I complete animating the 96 missile cells she will be close to adding to DCS. It's a big project so I will take my time to make sure everything is created properly.
With that said I will be creating all three Flight Classes. One technique we use in 3DS Max modeling is called Import/merge. It's copying all the weapons from one mod to another but the good thing about it is all the animations of those weapons are transferred as well. Without having to re-animate all the weapons again. So once FITZ is complete I will import/merge the weapons to the other two Flight Classes.
As mentioned before it's easy to get distracted while working on one mod so I will continue to work on the Lewis Puller as well but my main focus will be to complete the USS Fitzgerald. I will do what I can when I'm able to do it. My ailments slow me down sometimes so I will not push myself too hard on this.
It will be worth the wait!!! Thanks for your patience and support!!

Happy Sunday Guys!
Tarantul is out for testing. If all is well I will release her today. As you can see below I have added liveries for the countries that are currently operating them. Honestly, I'm not sure if all the countries below are still operating them today though.
One thing I couldn't sort out was the missile placement in the missile launchers. So I have hidden them for the moment. You will see them once they are released from the missile launchers.

So as I always say I have an AI ship for almost all countries. Future AI ships coming for DCS are for the US, Japanese Fleet, South Korea, Netherlands, Italy, France, Egypt, Spain, Australia, Germany, Canada, and Singapore. Not in that order.
In the near future, I plan to create some Civil Cargo, Container, and Tankers Ships for the upcoming Sinai Map. I also have some small Patrol Boats coming as well.
The next mod in line is the USS Lewis B. Puller (ESB-3). I'm creating this mod for the helicopter flyers out there as it is a forward expeditionary mobile base. Afterward, I will create a couple of Supply and replenishment vessels. We have a lot of ships but not enough support for them.
We'll see what the future brings. One day at a time! Thank you all for your interest in the AI Ship mods. Stay Tuned!

USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19) is the lead ship of the two Blue Ridge-class amphibious command ships of the United States Navy, and is the flagship of the Seventh Fleet. Her primary role is to provide command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) support to the commander and staff of the United States Seventh Fleet. She is currently forward-deployed to U.S. Navy Fleet Activities, Yokosuka in Japan.

Hey Toni, I think Hawkeye60 was working on a Ford Class. Not sure what his plans are with it.
Honestly, I think ED should add it to their to-do list as it's a team project. They have the tools and manpower. I'm surprised they didn't create Kitty Hawk when they created the Forrestal.
