Thanks for bringing that up Rudel. I will remove the extra folder. The extra folder is there because I'm using OVGME. I keep forgetting not everyone uses it.
So with regard to smoke. It is there but it doesn't work with Multithreading. I have no idea why it doesn't but it works very well in Stable as you can see from all the photos I posted. I think this is something I will bring up to ED. Thanks again!

Good Afternoon Everyone.
I have released the Sinai Map Commercial Vessels Pack One. Included in the pack are CMA_CGM_Jacques_Saade, CSCL_STAR_Line, and CPL_Shipping_Line
All the AI Ships mods have working Navigation and deck lights along with Stack/Chimney Smoke and working propellers. I will also be creating Commercial Vessels with Empty and Semi Empty Cargo/Containers Onboard. Each AI Ship Mod is a basic vessel with no weapons. I'm working to include a Captains View as well. That's a WIP. Many more vessels coming. Please let me know if you have any major technical issues. Thanks for your patience! Enjoy!

I'm running the final test on the first Bundle of Commercial Vessels and also the Pilot Boat. I have added Livery Flags of different countries on the Pilot Boat. So far I have Egypt, China, France, Italy, India, Panama, Russia, Spain, Sweden, the UK, and the US. If you want more countries added let me know and I will add them before release. Almost done! Thanks, NRG-Vampire! Yes, it is still true. The last time I checked the smoke wasn't visible while playing in MT. It works well in ST. I will be removing the smoke from the Warship Stacks as we call them here in the US. I would rather the smoke be clear just like the exhaust from Jets because most Warships have Gas Turbine Engines.

Good Afternoon Everyone!
OnReTach has granted me early access to test out the Suez Canal depths. I can tell you all that it's a very beautiful map with a lot of great detail. You all will enjoy flying around it. I can see some great missions will be created throughout the map. I'm not a flyer so I can't tell you much about the bases and airports but I can tell you there are quite a few they have added. The map is very beautiful at night with all the lights. Some areas in the channel are completely dark. I'm testing out ships' lighting now so you can at least see them transit the canal at night.
My perspective of the Suez Canal. I get a clear picture of how long it takes these large ships to transit the canal. Each of the Cargo/Container/Tanker vessels takes quite a while to transit the canal at speeds no more than 15 kt. Something I learned today is that if you set the ships on a path. Be sure not to have any other ships near them or they will run aground and stop all traffic through the canal. Wonderful Map! They are still hard at work on it so what I see is not the finished product.
The Alexandria, Egypt, and the Haifa. Israel harbors brought back memories of when I was there back in the early 90s onboard the USS Bowen FF-1079. This map will be my new playground to test out long-range missiles. I'm finishing up most of the AI DCS Commercial vessels for the Suez Canal. I'm hoping to release a hand full of them soon.
Below are some of the many snapshots I have taken of the channel and the map. I have more but I don't want to flood the forum with photos.

Thanks, GUFA. The Cyclone Class Patrol boat is high on my priority list. It should be done soon. The P336 has already been completed but has not been released. I can't find any of the other mods listed above. Sometimes it's hard to find good coastal patrol boast but I do have a lot of them to complete.
From here on out. I will only post mods that intend to release within weeks. So the commercial mods will be released as soon as I finish the navigation lights.
Unfortunately, I'm a one-man shipyard so I can only work on a couple of models at a time and that really depends on the nagging ailments I deal with.

RWC those are some beautiful photos of USS Gerald Ford. Really nice!!
One thing about carriers. They never travel anywhere without a submarine which is what you never see. You may see her escort but not the Submarine. She's always well-protected.
The more I look at her the more I want to create a mod of her. We'll see!
We have a lot of warships in DCS but not Harbor Patrol boats. We will have some soon.

Thats nice Flyinscotsman. Being a CAPT of a ship is a great experience but a lot of stressful and restless nights. I thought about going into the Merchant Marines but I promised after I retired I would never go back to sea again. 10 years of sea time in the Navy along with 4 deployments was enough for me. Being a Capt of a ship is definitely a humbling job!

AvgeekJoe, I updated the Independence to its latest weapons although they change all the time. Strike Missile and the AGM-114L.
FlyingScotsman I'm sure they had to make multiple trips back in those days just to transport cargo.
It amazes me how large the ships are today. The Largest ship I've piloted was the MV Carter and MV in Diego Garcia. They were close to 80,000 Tons. At the time I thought it was very heavy but looking at the ships out there today. 80,000 tons don't compare to 240,000 tons. Our saying was slow and easy because those ships don't stop on a dime. Some took an entire mile or more to stop. Speaking of Piloting. I've created a Pilot Boat to assist with the Canal Transit. Still WIP!

Thanks, Citizen. What you see is the low poly version of the Cargo ships. I have configured them to respond like a mammoth ship. So they won't be in a hurry a speed up. It's very slow.
Hey KrazyPilot, thanks I appreciate that. I will eventually get back to the older ships. I try to create mods based on what's happening in DCS. In this case the new Sinai Map. After all the Civil mods are released I will get back to normal business.
Thanks, Beldin. The USS Independence also launch the AGM-114L which is perfect against the Iranian patrol boat. It's still a WIP.
Bemme, I've never seen that before. I didn't know it exist. That's an easy conversion although I will be releasing the Hospital ships Mercy and Comfort.
Hey Eddie, I'm not sure why either they did what they did. Right now it's a forward mobile base. The only thing I will add to it is 4 50 Cals. There are two versions of it. Hershel "Woody" Williams is the other. It will be more for the AH-64 and other helicopters out there.

Hey, Enoy! I created it but I wasn't happy with the model itself so I'm re-working it. Once I finish it. I will release it. All the weapons work on it and it is in-game. I will put it on my shortlist. Thanks for reminding me!
