I have the throttle MT-50 and the stick MT-50CM Newest Softwaresuite-firmware update (30.09.2019) doesnt work for me. The processs launches and ends but it stated in the device list (not supported). When i try to setup an profile it said "first update firmware". Hafer

It was the same for me. But after 30min it apperared in the Module-list. It took much longer than in the previous Modules. Maybe the servers had some problems yesterday.

Same here. I must say i am a bit disappointed with the vr version of the F16. I had high expectation cause Wags stated that this module will be excellent in vr. Now not only the scale but the proportions seems way of for me. I hope ED will fix the vr version in the next couple of weeks.

Flashlight is not working for me. I am seeing just a black circle but no camera view. Any ideas? Cheers Hafer

After further testing i stick with: 180% ss on steamvr (beta) DCS PD 1.0 Everything on high visibility on extreme no msaa no shadows (both off) I have frametimes between 12 and 18 - for me it is smooth. On my opinion high ss on the reverb outperforms all the other settings (shadows, msaa)

Why did you return your consumer? i returend my pro v2 and ordered an consumer v2 cause it was much cheaper (499 vs 700).

I did a lot of testing and with PD1.1 i loss no performance but gain a bit more of clarity. Without MSAA it looks a bit sharper/crispier. In my old CV1 days i prefered SS over msaa, too (i was running 1,8 PD with cv1).

My settings so far 100% ss on steamvr (beta) which means 2224x2180/eye (close to native). And in DCS PD to 1.1 Everything on high shadows both on flat no msaa It runs very smooth (enabled reprojection in steamvr)

I guess you have the consumer edition not the pro. I had the pro (now consumer) and compared to the consumer your eyes are a bit more off the lenses. I'm using foam from https://vrcover.com (Odysee+ fits well)

I feel exactly the same. Sorry, i love DCS and spend hundreds of Euros for a lot of modules. But i cant understand that sort of quality process. A complete fail.

But only on the highest skill level. Average, good and high skill is easy to outmaneuver.

I did a further investigation in skill levels of the opponents. My findings: low, good and high are easy to beat. The only thing that disturbes me is that they just doing stupid looping all the time. Ok, the ai-pilots are not the smartest around. But the highest skill level opponent has this extreme turn and energy advantage. So both campaigns would be much better (for me ,) if the highest skill level goes max to high.

I think thats the point. In ACM and BCM it's frustrating doing the (long) approach and then not beeing able to fight the ai. Maybe every 10th attempt you got luck for a flyby shot but 9 out of 10 you lose.. ,(

I set up an sp-mission F5E-3 against F5E-3 (skill: high). The ai plane climbs like a rocket. No chance. Just when going head on head pull the trigger. In the dogfight i'm not pulling hard but losing a lot of speed to a point where its not possible to maneuver anymore. And meanwhile the ai is doing all stuff of high energy maneuvers looping, climbing, tigh turns. A lot of fun.. ,) Tried skill level average and it's no match for me. But on high it's not possible for me.

I bought both the ACM and BCM campaigns. I'm not able to fight the enemies. I'm not pulling hard but my F5 loses a lot of speed and energy to the point where its not any more maneuverable. For the flight model of the ai its so easy to out maneuver me. Everytime. High and low g yoyo doenst work. Everytime the long flight to india and then no chance to fight the enemies. Maybe i'm not qualified, but for me its a joke tying to beat an enemy with such an better turn rate. Impossible for me. By the way i'm an hobby simmer since the good old days with an Atari ST an FS2 or Falcon. I spend thousand hours in flight sims and i'm flying for 30 years rc-planes.

DS is a no go for me. It's much to bright and much to dark depending on scene. Although the colour vibrance is far off. My preferred settings for clarity and spotting: PD: 1.5 (sweet spot together with msaa @2x, without 1.6 is best) Textures: high Terrain: high Traffic: off Vis. Range: high Heat blur: low (just like your preference) shadows: off (big fps hit) Res. of Cockpit Displays: 512 (higher doesnt make sense or any difference in vr) MSAA: 2x (a must for me) HDR: off (eating frames) DS: Off (pretty saturated colours in vr - a no go for me) Grass: 0 (it has a strange vibrance and hurt my eyes) Trees: all right Preload: middle (i'm confused with this one) Chimney: 1 AF: 4 Terrain shadows: off Cockpit Illumination: off With these settings a get a very smooth (70-90 FPS) run in most missions (incl. Multiplayer)
