Exactly how would I create a profile for use in DCS, when there are no provisions for visual cues?

Hello, all. I am currently having a considerable issue with engaging voice in SRS, whenever I am running this aircraft in multiplayer. I turn on the TRAP 136 and 137; then, I press either the green or red activation buttons, respectively. I can see the proper channels on the SRS Overlay, but when I use the PTT button...the Transmit light on the overlay does not illuminate, signifying that the mic is not engaging in the jet. This is the ONLY aircraft I am having this comms issue with. The radio menus work just fine. Can someone help me out? It would be much appreciated. SidDogg

Real-Life HOTAS mapping for F1CE...
SidDogg replied to SidDogg's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Outstanding, fellas! And YES, sometimes we DO need more than what the manual might say. Especially if we are going for being as realistic as playable... I will look into this; it should help. Thank you. Again! SidDogg -
Real-Life HOTAS mapping for F1CE...
SidDogg replied to SidDogg's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
This alone, helps GREATLY. Now, I just need to figure out threst of the throttle. Thank you so much! SidDogg -
Hello, all. I'm here to ask if anyone knows the control layout on stick and throttle for the F1CE. The Aerges manual doesn't show much, and I am looking to map out my controller as closely as possible. I have searched for this information; perhaps I have merely been in the wrong places. Once I get that information, I can map it out in DCS, myself; however, at this point...I look at the stick and throttle and aside from trim control, I cannot tell which button does what! Maybe someone else has already put out a thread for this? If so, can you redirect me to it? Much appreciated. SidDogg

Hey Y'all. With new updates and the F-14A coming soon, I thought I would bring up a tiny detail I noticed a while back... Shouldn't there be a slight ANHEDRAL to the jet's Horizontal Stabilators, or Elevons? Perhaps about 2 or 3 degrees? ...I can't be the only one seeing this. HeatBlur, any thoughts? :helpsmilie: SidDogg

...I Third that. I wonder what folks will do to fix it??? SidDogg

All you gotta do is look at the (now) plethora of videos on YouTube... Additionally, about the pitch control. I DO believe I am not only speaking for myself. Many keyboard users out there, I imagine. I remember that the pitch was never stuck that way with the SU-25, A-10, F-86 or the F-15 before...and people will find that it is better to be able to center the stick automatically, ESPECIALLY in an engagement. I am currently on a business trip abroad, by the way...my X55 is back home  SidDogg

With respect, I'm not talking about the stab rotation on the X axis. I'm referring to the lateral droop in relation to the Y axis. It is easier to notice when viewing a head-on or a rearward profile. I have also posted this in the Bug Report area of this particular forum. As I was unable to transfer the picture attachments to this post, I invite you to see the post, perhaps you will see what I mean. SidDogg

Hello, all. Good Day. Been playing DCS for a long while, but I'm new to the forums here. Since this is the Bug section, I'm bringing up an issue I see with the visual appearance of the Horizontal stabilators on the 3D model, as well as issues with Pitch Control when using the keyboard to fly. To begin: Shouldn't the horizontal stabs at least DROOP by a few degrees? I have uploaded examples (on the deck with no stress from airflow, and also airborne). Additionally, when I utilize keyboard flight control, are my pitch inputs supposed to leave the horizontal stabs stuck at whichever amount of input I move them to? As it stands, regular Pitch control on keyboard mode is working more like trim...so i tried mapping trim to see if the behavior matches. It does! Long story short...when I make pitch control inputs, shouldn't the control column return to CENTER once i release inputs to the keyboard? You know, the same way that Roll control does right now Could somebody get at me about that? Because maybe I'm wrong. Thanks. SidDogg
