Hi TopperHarley Unfortunately i cant give any sound advice as my setup is nowhere near the specs you plan on going with as i only run 3 x 1080p. But i would be interested in the advice this great community can give also. I reckon the track IR will work OK as i assume it only relies on the sensor and what you use on your head. I would be interested to know myself if you will get decent frame rates on high settings with your rig and 3 x 4K TV plus running the LCD for the MDF's and if you can run it even with this high end rig. I have heard talk on the forums that spotting targets is a little harder to see in 4K for some reason also. Good luck with your project, i will revisit to see what advice comes in.

Hi I am no expert but try this. If you are using DCSFP as a key emulator you would left mouse click on the gear down box , the box is now yellow. The key bind for gear down in the F18 is LSHIFT+G. Now i am assuming you want to use key binds with DCS bios because you get that error because LSHIFT means nothing as it is not associated with a FA18 DCS-BIOS command. You program it by right clicking on the gear down box and pick Edit DCS-BIOS Control. Click on New and type in gear. Click on gear lever. in enter value sent to DCS-Bios put in 0 (gear down is 0 , gear up is 1) press OK. In description type gear down. Gear down is now programmed. On the very first post on this thread are some helpful youtube tutorials and other information. These helped me a lot when i first started.

Hi there As far as I know no one has successfully got the FIP to work in DCS. AthurDCS who develops dcsfp to run Saitek panels in dcs attempted to get the FIP’s to work a couple years ago but after a couple minutes of flight I believe they would freeze so it was abandoned.

Hi Jedra I found this to be an issue a while back when i was trying to make a profile for this module. Warlord did the code for this module without actually having the module to test as he has done with many other aircraft modules and does a great job. I tried to change some code to get the profile to "read" DCS BIOS but failed as my programming skills are poor. At the moment i get by with just key emulation. Try going to the DCS flight panels discord server and there is a place there that you can report this also as it seems to be more active now than this thread. Regards PEEP

Gday BusterBust in the menus of DCSFP go to - options - settings and click on where it says DCS-BIOS. This will bring up the DCS-BIOS Settings.

Hi again I dont have the steam version but all i can suggest is do a search for , json , and you should get pointed to it somewhere in your saved games folder. It could be something like C/users/your name/Saved games/DCS.steam/scripts/DCS-BIOS/doc/json

Hi Fallen Tyrael You are on the right track but you have to cheat a bit. This is how i do it:- Right click the box choose edit sequence.Choose ADD.use a key not binded in game i use V.Then choose ADD again.Then choose the OEM_6 key. In the information box name it. Regards PEEP

Hi BlackLibrary You are right, for some reason i did not have the latest DCS BIOS as mine did not have the flight director code for the C-101 and i can confirm it works for me. The 3 way external light switches are a no go though but you say the testers are still WIP. I will email you the code that i used to get them to work.

Hi valrond I have been testing the c101 bindings so I can do a c101 profile too, so just to let people know some of the 3 way switches for the external lights are not coded correctly and there is no code yet for the flight director. As I have the module I have been able to get working code for the external light switches and now working on the flight director. I am new to this coding but thought I try to help out and it makes one appreciate all the work that the guys put in to it. I will forward this on to BlackLibrary as soon as I get the flight director going.
