One thing to think about with a 13th gen Intel processor is that it is EOTL for the socket, so no future upgrades. I’d say the 7800X3D is the way to go if you’re going to build a new system now.

I have a Corsair 5000D. It houses the 3090 with a 360 radiator with ease. The the 360 is top mounted, and with six intake fans in the front/side of the case, there is plenty of room for the 3090 FTW3.

With that budget you can go wild. 7950X3D, DDR5 memory, big NVMe drives and a 4090.

Well my Orion 2 Max order came in today, seven days from placing the order in case anyone else wondering about time frame. I got the throttle put together and installed onto my desk mount. I've got the stick 99% put together. Good stuff to hear for someone who is currently waiting for their shipment. Unfortunately because it's FedEx, I have to wait until Wednesday to get the HOTAS even though they are approximately 15 miles from house. I hate FedEx.

After a decently long break from DCS, the allure of the F4 and the F15E dragged me back in. I am excited for those, but I also just placed an order for Orion 2 MAX. No idea what the wait time is but I am jacked to have a good set of flight controls on the way.

Aida64 is suddenly reporting a hardware failure while stress testing the whole system. Guess this may not be a DCS issue. Let the trouble shooting begin.

I've got an eVGA 2080 Super XC Ultra. It's factory overclocked. I haven't touched it at all.

I deleted the fxo and metashaders2 folders and tried again, no luck. I'm also getting crashes in single player now as well. Ugh.

Hello all, I've recently gotten back into DCS after upgrading my PC. Single player mode seems to be working just fine, but I am getting consistent crashes while trying to play MP. My system is in my signature. All drivers are up to date. I am mainly trying to play on the 107th TTI servers. I cannot get the game to crash by doing something specific, it is just random unfortunately. Here's the last crash report: dcs.log-20200411-205007.zip
