  1. Hi all, Im getting several CTD while playing multiplayer in VR with the Rift S. Like once in every session. When the CTD happens, im back into the oculus home menu but the audio of the game continues for some time in the backgound. It sounds like the game is still running in the background without any visual. After some time it stops and i get the DCS crashscreen. Im flying the F14 using only the F14 pilot lantirn mod. I hope someone who understands the logfiles can clarify some things up for me. Some system specs: DCS 2.7 OB Im running windows 10 (updated) Ryzen 5 2600 OC 4.1ghz Nvidia RTX 3070 32 GB ram 3200mhz 500GB SSD dcs.log-20210513-130844.zip
  2. For some reason it hasnt occured anymore and im able to play without any issues.
  3. Sometimes im able to sit a little longer in the cockpit. But it seems like random things make dcs crash to desktop. I was just on a server selecting my weapons before take off and it crashed. After that it crashed to desktop by just sitting in the cockpit for 1 second. And after trying again it crashed when i just wanted to taxi to the runway. It all happens within like a minute after selecting a role and getting into the aircraft. I never had these kind of problems playing offline, it never crashed. Edit: i have just flown an entire hour without any issues with the mod on a PVE server. Tomorrow i'll do some more testing. Doesnt make any sense to me at the moment.
  4. I have already checked if without the mod it works but unfortunaly its still a no. The mod also says it passes the online integrity check so i doubt it had anything to do with it. Everything goes real smooth untill i jump into the cockpit of the F14 and it crashes to desktop. I'll keep testing things later today.
  5. Hi all, Im kinda lost here. Today, after playing DCS for only singleplayer for years i thought about trying multiplayer. But when i select my role as an F14 pilot and press "fly", im in the cockpit for 1 second and DCS crashes to desktop without a crashreport. I have repaired DCS world Open Beta 2.7, uninstalled Heatblurs F14 module and the only MOD i used (lantirn mod), and reinstalled the module. Unfortunally all without fixing the problem. This only happens with the F14, i can play the A10C just fine on any server. Hopefully anyone here recognises the problem and knows how to fix it. My system specs: Windows 10 Ryzen 2600 4.1Ghz RTX 3070 32 GB Ram 3200mhz. VR: Rift S.
  6. Few days later, still working great without dof problems.
  7. Yes im using the public test updates. Past couple of weeks i've done some uninstalling and reinstalling the software testing if there would be a difference between the public test updates and the normal ones. Unfortunately it didnt for me
  8. Been dealing with this issue now for weeks. Yesterday i have been busy again trying to solve the problem. Being in the Oculus menu, most of the time i only had 3dof with locked hand controllers stuck on the ground. Occasionally i did had 6dof with normal working hand controllers for just a small amount of time before the problem occured again. Very frustrating. After trying different usb 3.0 ports again it did seem to have restored the 6dof and im able to use my hand controllers normally again. Hopefully it will continue to work like it should do. Kinda affraid when im going to startup today the problem will occur again. But till now it seems like the usb ports are somehow causing a problem. Fingers crossed ( * i already unchecked the usb power saving box some weeks ago )
  9. Same problem here. Most of the time when i enter the Oculus or DCS main menu in VR all is good. 6 DOF. Then when i eventually jump in a plane, i press fly and within 2 seconds suddenly it goes to 3 DOF. When i exit and go back to the main menu the problem stays. Freakin annoying, when you do not have much time to play and when you find some free time your busy figuring this crap out for hours without any improvement. Also being in the Oculus home in VR im experiencing many times the VR hands are stuck on the ground. Rebooting the Oculus services does help for that problem. Didnt had any of this when i got my rift s when it came out. Already tried more lighting the room, repairing the software, fully reinstalling the software, reconnecting the cables, trying differend USB ports and more. All without solving the damn issue. Very annoying
