Hallo Ladies & Gents I wanted to ask about something here, since a long time ago, but i lately started to play again with a friend of mine ,in the back seat i am used to most kind of procedures back there, and i think i know 95% on how to get things done while RIO-ing BUT - I am facing a problem, that never changed - Since the release of the F14, and i thought about asking here for some help. So, When in RIO seat then ,and While in TWS Auto mode (-or Manual) - i can see a RADAR bandit (Not from LINK4) in about ~20-30 miles away. After Hooking him (FROM TID) with Full HCU - i try to STT lock him with (with either PD-STT or P-STT) 90% of the times, the system does not STT him. (i have tried it many many times) BUT - When i try to lock him from DDD panel (Changing HCU slave to DDD) i have no problem at all and the lock is fast and usually stable. Can you help me please with about STT from TID screen? Thanks Sky. i dont know if this is a BUG topic, so thats why i posted it here.

TEL isn't working either for me - never worked. I Can see Redkite's video with noice when in Boresight (check 8.53) - Tho i still cant see noise when entering boresight mode (Check Pic Above).

*Update - When changing to Boresights , no noise is shown in vertical lines (check above picture) that's why, I cant get a lock. Am i doing something wrong?

Sorry for the late reply, i just load an instant action missile practice - or intercept mission (in witch Aircraft is already on air ) i can lock with TDC, but no matter how close i go <7 miles (even <1 mile) i change to boresight - TEL or BPZ , (i can see the change in my radar scope), then i place the enemy aircraft inside HUD and nothing happens ever, either upper HUD either in center HUD. i have tried this many times, in various sorties. Pasting image from that interception mission with that Mig21 @ 9'oclock null

As the topic says, i have never achieved lock with boresight modes. (Both) I can see youtube videos that boresight is locking tho....

hm , Have you tried multishoting? Missle has strange flight path....

Whot? There is actually a button at the RIO office "Next Launch" so this could be the same input to tell in Jester Menu...

Hallo and good evening everyone, How come does Pilot controls dont come with a "Next Target" button, to change primary TWS target. It would be really handfull while in multiplayer with another tomcat, when both planes have the same primary target when 2 targets. For now the only way is to STT "TWS no 2 or-" Thanks

As the subject says, What else is to be released in the F14B? Is there more to see in this beast? I Know only about TARPS is left.

i totally understand that P47 and SC, and F16, are brand new features, but my friend, im not talking about that, i talk about 2-year working radar, being screwed up in a patch. The fact that the devs cannot do it all ,is not my problem.

Guyz sorry but I feel you don't understand what I write, -or my English is so bad. What I would like to be clear is, even in Early Access or BETA client, you cant publish a module without testing least the planes major functionalities, and im not talking about little buggy things. Maybe you missed about after 2 years development F18 radar was completely broken and the plane was totaly unplayable. Why are you talking about beta client stuff and early access every time, these are for law departments, don't start again, we are talking about ED reliability and way things work in there. In the market, beta clients are to test new things, not to test old things again and again. i dont it get how do you support such un-professionalism, im a DCS Fan too, but not like that.

Well it might be complicated for my wife, but ED is 17 years in this almost same engine. Other people Study and become doctors in 8 years. How complicated can something be if you work so many years to it. This thing my friend is Marketing strategy. ED has many many many inside problem regarding project management.

My DCS future budget they wont take cause of this, oh they matter to them.

What complex software are you talking about? ED is 17 year old, is this some kind of joke? 3rd party developers for eg have their own A2G radar 3 years before mother company? is this normal to have same problems like 2 years ago? Beta is supposed to test something NEW. DCS is complicated, but also very expensive, We pay for A+++ and....?

Noone complained about new things not working. People say about things that were previusly working ,and was new features like a year ago, when we ,the beta community test F18 radar. why did they release a broken old feature? You correct say, NEW THINGS, the problem is not with new things, we know what beta is. It seems that you don't understand what Beta is, and what Alpha is, and how to work for others and pay for it instead of been paid for it.

Why do they ask me to pay 80dollar per module for -as you say - something old mess? If you break something, OK - NO PROBLEM, really, but TEST IT MATE BEFORE RELEASE IT. Really, i was wondering, no one from ED tried to fire an Amraam with an F18 before pressing the Deploy button? Its a 10 seconds try mate... Give me the module free for DCS Beta to test it for you, and if i want to play it in stable, i will pay it.
