  1. Survival, did you solve this problem? I'm having the same issue. Cheers
  2. Is it possible to have persistence? Ie turn off, or PC crash, and continue at the same point as you were?
  3. Thanks for adding the Huey! The one thing I'd love to see if you can add (if it's possible) is to sling load in AA air defenses. To be able to sling load up 2-3 crates up the coast or onto an island to assemble a Blue Sam site to help the air defense / attacking of the next 'area' would be a fantastic addition. Without knowing anything I think you're almost there. You can call fighter cover already, you have persistence in the static and units. I can imagine that if you had a trigger/flag that the SAM sites have to put in a very specific area you'd be able to call that as a unit appearing as part of your persistance? So would in effect be there the next time around. But as I say, I know nothing!
  4. And more importantly, can we donate a few bucks to you/something for your efforts?
  5. Surrexen, Awesome thank you. This really is an amazing mission and total respect for doing it. First time in ages I've had that nervous apprehension flying into the unknown leaving the airfield. (Would love some more heli stuff if you do anymore in the future).
  6. Hi, I'm trying to work out if it is possible to continue playing in the same 'mission' having exited DCS. I have died, chosen a new slot, and carried on in the same mission. But is it possible to restart DCS (the next night / after a crash say) and continue where you were up to? I have changed the missionscripting.lua to, but no luck. "local function sanitizeModule(name) _G[name] = nil package.loaded[name] = nil end do --sanitizeModule('os') --sanitizeModule('io') --sanitizeModule('lfs') --require = nil --loadlib = nil end" PS, the units I thought I had killed reappeared so not sure about how the persistence work? Thanks in advance
  7. Hi Guys, Any news on when Worlds Apart might be released on Steam? Thanks
  8. For interest, I read the instructions supplied with the CEII, practiced some more and can get tidy(ish) aerobatic spins now.
  9. Hey All, I'm enjoying playing around with the CEII trying to perform aerobatics routines and thank you to those that put the model together! But, one thing I'm struggling with is to get a proper flat spin. I enter the spin by stalling from cutting power at high AOA (45deg), then full rudder and back stick as entering the stall. I typically get a spiraling spin, more like 45 deg AOA, than a proper 65+ deg flat spin. Combinations like opposite aileron or adding power that I might have thought would flatten the spin out don't, and often can lead to recovery. I'm definitely not a pilot so keen on advice from those that are, or even a video of it being done correctly in DCS. (I have had minimal success with the P-51 too tbh) Any suggestions on pointers (or where to look for them)? Thanks
