Haven't been online in many months. Sad to see this server go but I understand the decision. All great things must come to an end. I made many, many great memories here. I was in the midst of medical residency during the early pandemic, and your server was a way to relax. Hats off to Alpenwolf for nine years of faithful service. And thanks, friend... see you again.

Video editing, potentially. I'd like to collect in-game footage from a couple of decent engagements (TacView GIFs). First one is from the Elbrus mission, 05/27/2020. The timestamp on my Tacview file is 17:45 in my time zone, which would be 20:45 in London The second one is from Hold The Line 09/13/2020. The timestamp is 16:25 in my time zone, which would be 21:25 in London. If you could share the trackfiles from those missions I'd really appreciate it - thanks.

Hey @Alpenwolf, is there any chance you'd be willing/able to share a pair of server-side track files if I give you a date and time? My local copies are useless as always.

VR, when the hardware gives a consistent frame rate, elevates the experience so radically it is almost like a different game. Your eyes will be opened. The air will be sweeter. Food will taste different. The first time you merge with an opponent at full burner - it is a religious experience. You reconsider everything. I am only joking, but only half. You will be a changed man.

Sometimes AWACS lets you down and doesn't tell you the MiG is there until after he has fired at you.

Fighting Mig29s on this server makes me want a high-fidelity F-15A.

I use it to uncage missiles in the F-5. This works really well with the CM2, but not-so-well with the alpha (given that it has numerous stages and can be pulled all the way back against the main trigger). For what it's worth, I have the Alpha as well and prefer the button layout/functions/ergonomics of the CM2. I just wish the CM2 was a little shorter so it was appropriate for desktop use.

So I had fun tangling with these two MiGs (4X speed). I generally don't like to chase the MiG 21 in a climb, but sometimes the results can be satisfying. Unfortunately my TRK file of the match was corrupt, as they often are. Does anyone have a track file of Hold The Line from Sept 16 that they'd be willing to share? Maybe I'll have better luck. (I know there are was to change camera angles and such).

I had a great time during the night Persian Gulf mission yesterday. Pretty sure I splashed a blue Viggen though. Sorry mate.
