  1. Thats onyl true for the A10c. In the hornet (dont know why) the bomb will only start looking for laser and manouvering after it's achieved a good flight path.
  2. Im really looking fwd to seeing what others think. Mainly because I'd like to make my missions more realistic and was thinking about spreading out a lot all units within a sam template.
  3. Out of curiosity I tried setting up an sa10 with the launchers, search radar and track radar very spread out like 15nm. Apart from the fact that it does work, I came accross something I now wonder about RL: My RWR told me that the lock on signal was coming from my right but since the launchers were so far to the left the missiles were actually coming from my left. Is that something that could happen IRL?
  4. After ED changed this (to be more realistic I understand) the AI struggles a lot to make their HARMs reach target. Now the HARMs have a lot less range thatn when they lofted. Even with manual lofting (from aircraft) they dont reach such good ranges as before becuase inmediately after launch they start pointing the nose to the source of radiation, losing a lot of energy. All of this is realistic I think, just pointing it out that the AI should account for this change.
  5. I confirmed it does :D
  6. Unfortunately the GSPD is bugged again. Track attached of the bug. TOT GSPD.trk
  7. This was such a good question that it made me go test it. I can confirm it does take into account all the flight plan. Attached a track to show it. TOT.trk
  8. Is this really happening again? I thought the radar detection bugs were solved months ago. Nothing worse that to think there is no one there when in fact there are enemies.
  9. 80 kms is just impossible
  10. very well done finding this bug, not easy to come accross.
  11. Crystal clear, thank you.
  12. I am also confused about this. Love to hear some feedback.
  13. I think (might be wrong) that now that ED simulated coordinates loading INTO the jdam itself, if you drop it the coordinates are lost with the bomb
  14. Thanks for the detailed explanation. I know I should not use this way the jsows but until talds arrive maybe I will :smilewink: Besides, JSOW A is bugged right now and doesnt do much damage
  15. Yesterday I was trying to saturate an s300 site with jsows so we can then shoot our harms and destroy the radars. To make the mission realistic I didnt put the exact coordinates of the units so the jsows would fly near them and we would need the harms to their jobs. The problem I encountered is that the harms fly much faster than the jsows and I could not find a way to calculate (the hornet doesnt provide that info) the flying time of each one to account for it. The goal is to have all of them reach target area at the same time, otherwise the harms will be shot down. Do you guys know a method to make both type of weapons reach at roughly the same time? Thanks.
  16. I wonder why. I really thought that the JDAM/JSOW data input was simulated. I didnt try but as you say it wont matter what we enter.
