Tested again today: with SMT / Hyperthreading on still stuttering with SMT /Hyperthreading off in BIOS much better with the last update the performance / framerate got better for me. But for me it still seems, that there is a problem with SMT / Hyperthreading on or core /thread scheduling. Don't know why, but with DCS SMT is a no go for me.

Had the same a few weeks ago. HP logo on the headset stayed dark and it was not recognized. Had bought an 3 years extended warranty at the shop and got a new cable. With the new cable it works flawless again. @nessuno0505 so there is a good chance your cable is also defective. But 80 € for a cable is massive if you have to buy it now, especially when you know that the headset is end of life.......

So sad to hear about @dburne's passing. My eyes are full of tears and my heart weighs heavy. Condolences and all the strength needed to his family in these dark hours. And to you Don: Blue skies and always a third wire. May you fly with the best up there! You will be missed here very much. cheers Don

@BIGNEWY are there any news or ideas what the problem with the MT branch is at the moment? As I said it is NOT ONLY an Intel problem. The MT branch is stuttering like hell on my AMD rig. Tried and tweaked a lot but was not able to get rid of the stuttering. Althoug it is better if I disable hyperthreading / SMT, it is far from stutter free. Removed every overclock on my system, but did not cure the problem. Please make this problem high priority, it completely kills the immersion in VR. Thanks @Badger633 Tried mission one again today. All fine. Will observe in the coming missions. All mods removed now. But a lot of free campaigns require civilian aircraft mod and military aircraft mod. Did you observe any issues with your campaign if the two mods are installed? Thanks for your help

Hi @Badger633 started the campaign yesterday. Fist time in M01 I did not turn right on the runway after the PR meeting. so my wingman did not start from RAS AL KHAIMAH. Today, next try, I took off from the carrier, but Dodge 1-2 did not start. Only one Dodge flight was with me to provide high cover. The other one was on the deck with the canopy open.

I will test this weekend. Have not had time yet to test.

W10 @BIGNEWY in my opinion there is a problem with hyperthreading (SMT on AMD) the file made it worse for me with SMT disabled in uefi as soon as I remove the file it is smooth again - 5900X without SMT so only the 12 physical cores as soon as I activate SMT in uefi the OB MT starts stuttering for me 5900X 24 threads tested now with 24 threads with the lua file, also hardcore stuttering I think you have a problem with the "non physical cores" / SMT /Hyperthreading! Please consider to take a closer look at this. As soon as I disable my non physical cores (disable SMT/Hyperthreading in UEFI) DCS is nearly smooth for me

Absolutely no joy for me! Added the lua file, stuttering increased massively, also lower framrate than before.

opened a ticket; told me to decrease preload radius to 60000 and increase pagefile to 48GB or 64 GB. We will see, not 100% sure it solves the problem.
