  1. When you get in a real cockpit you don't get to remap hook stick into gears and pedals into ailerons :pilotfly: you just learn where they are and what they do. Mapping flexibility is great for experienced pilot but something that scares a noob :smilewink:
  2. Fully agree with Vertigo72. Another things to improve - controls set up. It takes quite an effort to map all the controls, and then transferring them to another plane or pc. At the same time, 90% of simmers, noobs in particular, use less a dozen of sticks and throttles. Making default profiles with simple in game selection would greatly reduce entry barrier
  3. Should be perfect. I have i5, 16gb, 1660ti, keeps 50-80 fps at close to max settings 1980x1080
  4. registration closed?
  5. It seems that all it takes is to map area that would take stream from passthrough cameras to show physical cockpit, while the rest is VR. Sounds easy, but I have not seen soft that would do that. May be VR owners know better how difficult is mixed reality?
  6. I am trying to make streaming on the second screen with external views. Has anyone seen modes that change views in "move like" style, based on the context? Like fly by, around, look from the enemy etc. I know you can do it manually, but I am sure you can make presets based on what's happening during the game. ANY ideas are very appreciated!
  7. To: ED team I love the game. Like many others, I enjoy the thought that by playing I learn how to start control a real jet. And, like many others, when I stumble upon some new, like instruments or maneuvers, I do one of the three things Tell myself I will Google it later (50%) Actually Google it, find something interesting but irrelevant, return to the game an hour later, with no info (30%) Actually find the info on the Web and return to the game inspired by the new knowledge :pilotfly: (20%) To increase adoption and user base (and ED profit that would speed up development :)) DCS needs a good in game training system. Not the current buggy module from the 2000x, where a player has to read a fine print at the top of the screen. And not (often really good) YT vids where one has to leave the game. But interactive instructions and visuals right in the cockpit, a trainer plane that a pilot can follow etc. I know ED has lots to do in the pipeline. But DCS has really steep learning curve, and without good training module too many new pilots run it few times and put it away for when they have more time to learn (Never happens). If I was in ED, I'd leverage dedicated community with a tool \ API so pro virpilots could create and share training scenarios :joystick:. IMHO :music_whistling: DCS training.pdf
