I'm just one person but I'd love to see NTTR be updated and also expanded, from Fallon down to Nellis, and in my wildest dreams--somewhere far down the road--I would love to see an expansion to Lamoore and all the way down to San Diego Harbor and its adjacent waters. Yes I realize that would be a massive undertaking, but I'd buy it. That's just me.

So there I am, kicking it old school w/ my Reverb G2, just sittin there, cold start Tomcat, three beers in, reppin' a Felix the Cat livery of the VFA-31, and I bring up the Kneeboard with my trusty VoiceCommand prompt to, you know, "go through the checklist". Very cool. From there it seems to be completely arbitrary: Sometimes I get the small white dot cursor which allows me to grab, move, or re-size the Kneeboard; other times I get the standard mouse pointer icon and I can't move the Kneeboard at all, however many curse words I unleash, and I begin grow weary of DCS world and contemplate the simple joys of retiring to the un-wound afterworld of back porch margaritas and re-dedicating myself to the months-long project of finishing Thucydides. Is there some simple command I'm missing which will allow me obtain the elusive "small white dot" and thereby to grab and move the damn kneeboard, or am I forever resigned to the whims of this strange, modern variant of medieval obscurantism, revealing itself in esoteric devilry of hidden cfg files and 'polling rates' and 'windowed' modes and other similar nonsense? Please help a brotha out.

Could be the servers. Also, I did a "file integrity" check and it said it was "acquiring" 111 files. Either way it works now. All is back to normal.

Tried to open DCS for the first time in a couple weeks and ran into this: "Failed to get authorization data. Error code is: 504 - No saved authorization found." So it loaded the game without any of my paid content. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx.

Yeah I had read the stories about the flight model and was worried. But I made my first flight earlier today and I thought it flew pretty well. Granted, I did take the advice of some who said to set the axis curves ~20' or so. The plane felt heavy enough and authentic enough for me. And maybe because I had read that thread I was more prepared to adjust my control surfaces whenever I made a change in the power setting.

I think if your brakes aren't working at all, try un-binding "parking brakes" and see if that helps. My very limited understanding is that what the developers are calling "parking brakes" is in fact simply a stand-in for using both the left & right brakes at the same time: i.e. standing on both brakes. The actual Corsair had no "parking brakes" as we post-modern pretend aviators normally understand that term. So if you bind the "parking brakes" and then you release them, there's a conflict between a command that has released both brakes and your input to apply one of them. Anyway, I made that change and suddenly I had differential braking. I could be wrong. In fact I rarely know what I'm talking about and I welcome correction.

Oh, that's definitely true.

7-zip file manager Is that wrong?

Just to follow up, I did complete the downloads of the core files, and as far as I can tell #s 1, 4 & 5 are fine. But #s 2 and 3 show a data error when I try to unzip to OvGME. I re-downloaded the files again (twice) and they continue to show a data error. Thanks for all your hard work. Sorry to be such a problem child, but I wonder if I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks, that does seem to have helped. 1 down, 10 to go.

Thanks for the quick response. You mean the temp folder under 'This PC'?

My download attempt fails about 20 minutes in, every time. Which makes me sad.

I have a question about the "Shaking Reduction" setting on the Input tab. For whatever reason, it won't allow me to change it. On the OpenXR Quickstart page, it refers to "Shaking reduction, formerly Prediction dampening (only when supported by the system) . . ." What about my system wouldn't support the feature? What do I need to add? My sytem: i512400 // RTX 3070ti // 32G DDR4 // Reverb G2

Alright, everything seems to be coming together. It opened exactly as you described. Thanks so much for your help. Much appreciated.
