  1. Could be the servers. Also, I did a "file integrity" check and it said it was "acquiring" 111 files. Either way it works now. All is back to normal.
  2. Tried to open DCS for the first time in a couple weeks and ran into this: "Failed to get authorization data. Error code is: 504 - No saved authorization found." So it loaded the game without any of my paid content. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx.
  3. 問題の機体であることは間違い
  4. Yeah I had read the stories about the flight model and was worried. But I made my first flight earlier today and I thought it flew pretty well. Granted, I did take the advice of some who said to set the axis curves ~20' or so. The plane felt heavy enough and authentic enough for me. And maybe because I had read that thread I was more prepared to adjust my control surfaces whenever I made a change in the power setting.
  5. I think if your brakes aren't working at all, try un-binding "parking brakes" and see if that helps. My very limited understanding is that what the developers are calling "parking brakes" is in fact simply a stand-in for using both the left & right brakes at the same time: i.e. standing on both brakes. The actual Corsair had no "parking brakes" as we post-modern pretend aviators normally understand that term. So if you bind the "parking brakes" and then you release them, there's a conflict between a command that has released both brakes and your input to apply one of them. Anyway, I made that change and suddenly I had differential braking. I could be wrong. In fact I rarely know what I'm talking about and I welcome correction.
  6. Oh, that's definitely true.
  7. 7-zip file manager Is that wrong?
  8. Just to follow up, I did complete the downloads of the core files, and as far as I can tell #s 1, 4 & 5 are fine. But #s 2 and 3 show a data error when I try to unzip to OvGME. I re-downloaded the files again (twice) and they continue to show a data error. Thanks for all your hard work. Sorry to be such a problem child, but I wonder if I'm doing something wrong.
  9. Thanks, that does seem to have helped. 1 down, 10 to go.
  10. Thanks for the quick response. You mean the temp folder under 'This PC'?
  11. My download attempt fails about 20 minutes in, every time. Which makes me sad.
  12. I have a question about the "Shaking Reduction" setting on the Input tab. For whatever reason, it won't allow me to change it. On the OpenXR Quickstart page, it refers to "Shaking reduction, formerly Prediction dampening (only when supported by the system) . . ." What about my system wouldn't support the feature? What do I need to add? My sytem: i512400 // RTX 3070ti // 32G DDR4 // Reverb G2
  13. Alright, everything seems to be coming together. It opened exactly as you described. Thanks so much for your help. Much appreciated.
  14. Again, thanks for your help. I do have a question: When I double click the desktop DCS icon, it does the shatter routine as expected, but it doesn't "drop back into home after a second". It shatters, then it opens DCS but at the same time it also opens SteamVR and puts the SteamVR overlay on my desktop. This is in addition to the WMR window which is also DCS & has refused to "go Home". I get the idea that the whole point of OpenComposite, et al, is to bypass SteamVR, so my guess would be that it wouldn't/shouldn't be opening at all. (Note: I have unchecked the SteamVR auto-launch box when WMR opens. It's not opening with WMR but rather when I open DCS). So I'm getting DCS to open consistently. That's an improvement. The bad news is that performance seems far less than what I would expect & I'm not confident that I've really bypassed SteamVR. I get the feeling that Steam & WMR are still fighting it out for control. Should SteamVR still be opening if I've done everything correctly?
  15. Thanks for the post. Things do seem to be going better.
