As far as I am aware, you DO need to use the Logitech Gaming Software to program it, but once done it works really well. I have mine primarily set for the Datalink in the KA-50 and then some other functions are set for the second mode (some of the more hard to reach or common tasks like lights etc...) Spend the time and make your own profile, it really does help.

What am I doing wrong? Whilst on the ground, I am able to radio through to anyone and everyone, but as soon as I take off, my ability to communicate to ANYONE (AI) falls away. I can't talk to ATC, wingmen, nothing! I am sure it is something that I am missing, but for the life of me I can't work it out. :joystick:

I have recently epoxied BOTH of mine. I very rarely changed the angles so decided to fix it permanently. Feels really solid and works brilliantly. $3.00 rather than $35.00...

You don't have an old steering wheel by some stroke of luck? I THINK you can map those pedals...

Hi all, I have stuffed up. During a recent reinstall of everything (again!), I accidentally have attempted to install BS2 complete rather than the BS2 upgrade edition. Now everytime I use a DCS module, I get an activation request for BS2 which will not accept my registration details. Am I able to remove this module by itself to replace it with my Upgrade edition, or do I need to start over yet again at a cost to my reactivation number? Any help would be really appreciated. Wedge

Hi all, I have been having problems for a while and am just about to install a new motherboard, which will hopefully fix the issues. It is a GA-Z77X-UD3H and has onboard graphics with DVI, D-Sub, HDMI, and a Display port built in. I am running three screens currently using Eyefinity, and was considering going for a 3+1 setup with my MFD's and a helios setup on the +1 (19" Dvi monitor). Would anyone know if I am able to run the +1 screen via the onboard graphics, with the three main displays using my two 6970's?

My PC has been glitching more than usual of late and I have tried everything that Google has thrown at me. The glitch is upon startup when after the initial memory test, it reboots and then goes into a cycle of POST, mem test (Completes) and the reboot. The only way I can get it to boot properly when it dows this is to hold the power switch at the right time. I then will either have it reboot normally (Mem test -> Detecting IDE drives -> loading operating system) or it will display a screen that reads, 'Main BIOS Checksum Error............. Retrieving Recovery Source from HPA............... BIOS Auto-Recovering.............' The problem parts seem to be my Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3R-B3 Motherboard. I am over it. I have had one SSD fail due to what I believe is the constant power cycle. I have tried resetting BIOS, flashing (not in the fun way), resetting updating... everything BIOS. So, having built this pc a year ago, I promptly took myself out of the research mode and went about enjoying it, therefore taking myself out of the loop regarding technology evolution. Can anyone recommend a new motherboard to take the following bits? Major feature I would like is a bucket load of USB ports at the back of the PC... Will the require a full reinstall of EVERTHING, or is there a quick and easy way to replace a motherboard without a full reformat?

I think you also need to make sure that your pitch and roll angles are less than 5 degs for it to take effect...
