I went from a CV1 to a Reverb G1 and it looks much better without the SDE of the Rift running the same res 5820k at 4.4ghz GTX 1070 32GB RAM

I just wear my HyperX Clouds over my Reverb. Works fine

These type posts are my favorite. DCS runs fantastic! Until you start doing something besides flying around an empty area I am surprised at the Reverb performance issues. My G1 runs better than my OG Rift because I could run PD1.0 (or even less) and have a better image than the Rift cranked up.

Since this is a vent thread I will also I guess. I've stopped playing DCS due to the poor VR performance, and once experiencing VR it's almost impossible to go back to monitor so that's out. My system is antiquated now (5820k @ 4.4, 32GB RAM, GTX 1070, HP Reverb headset) but at one time it was adequate for DCS and I think that is the most frustrating part. I would also be happy to upgrade, but seeing folks with brand new $3000 systems still struggle to have a decent online environment is not encouraging.
