Having the same issue. According to support (in my case) it should be on a second account, the same name with a 1 added at the end. This was caused by some migration. However, I'm unable to login into my accountname1, so not sure how to proceed for now (password reset doesn't work).

Order history gone, ticket 19030, no response since january 26 2013

Turns out there exists some kind of zoog1 account, but I simply can't login using my normal password nor does the retreive/reset password tool work (not receiving any email). I've updated my ticket, will wait to see how the user/password combo can be fixed.. -

Yeah, I had a look at it yesterday. Didn't find black shark 1 at first but found it now at the older versions category. But it's missing the serial number, it just shows a page like all the other module download pages when you haven't purchased them. I'm not sure what I have bought in the last few years, but black shark 1 was definitely one of them :) logging in with a 1 added to my account name doesnt work. -

Thanks! -
Hello, I created a ticket about my order/payment history not displaying my previous purchases anymore, ticket #19030. I'm not sure if this is an error or something that is part of the store system. I created the ticket on january 26 2013, requested an update on february 28 2013, but without any luck. And yet again a month has passed without any replies whatsoever. Can someone from support have a look at my ticket please? I'm waiting for 2 months now.... Thanks :)

Great read. I remember reading about this Vergeev Group campaign a few(?) years back. Never found the time to actually buy & play it. These AARs sparked renewed interest I must admit! Hope the missions keep on working correctly with the newer World version. I'm really tempted to buy this campaign as well right now :)

I've been scavenging these forums for a while for info on a new HOTAS for Black Shark. I'm under the impression that the X52 series is the right one for me (price/quality/budget wise). It turns out that in my area the price difference between the two is 50,- euro (X52 = 100,- and the X52 Pro = 150,-). As far as I know the only difference is the MDF display and the spring system. But is this difference in spring huge? Like, is it worth a 50% increase in costs? Or is the difference minimal, or at least, not really worth spending so much more? I would've tried them out myself but unfortunately it's all online retail, so I cannot get my hands on them before I buy :( Any help/suggestions much appreciated.

I have been testing with TouchPal. Really nice stuff! :) Only thing that bugs me is that the button layout has been re-done for easy access. This means that if you're used to playing with TouchPal you might have forgotten where the actual controls are and how they look. I really don't know how much work it is yet, but I think for personal use, I'm going to try and create an interface with at least the following 4 panels, exactly how they look in the cockpit: - Targeting Mode Control Panel - PUI-800 Weapon Status & Control Panel - Data Link Control Panel - UV-26 Countermeasures Control Panel And maybe (if there is room left) - Targeting Display Control Panel I hope it's ok if I try this based on the TouchPal files, as long as I keep it for personal use?

IIRC the rudder is also incorporated into the trimming. I remember that there have been discussions about this and people asking to remove it from the trimming "system" (for lack of me having better words to describe it ;))

Night patrol.....hard to accomplish.

Thanks! I believe it's a stock mission from DCS-BS. I thought you had to round off the last number so North ends with 22 so shouldn't it be 2 instead of 4? Same with the 14 from East (rounded off to 1)? Manual PVI entering is completely new to me :helpsmilie: Cool. I thought there was absolutely no connection/interaction between PVI and ABRIS systems? -

Sorry to dig this up but I need some help with the patrol mission. It's been a while and I'm a bit lost. I have received the coordinates for a target point, 44,27,22N and 39,23,14E. I enter these in the PVI as target point using this: PVI Master Mode: EDIT PVI Task: NAVTGT PVI Point Number: 1 Coordinate: 0-44272-0-039231-ENTER (or something like that) PVI Master Mode: OPER PVI Task: NAVTGT PVI Point Number: 1 So now I have it in the PVI, but I'm kinda lost what I should do next? Program the coordinates also in the ABRIS? Or turn on route mode with the TGT selected (is that even possible)? Or do I need to read the PVI distance info etc and fly based on that? (I'm used to fly using the ABRIS of course, like a Tom Tom ;)). Somehow I'm lost on what to do with the coordinate info  -
Like others said Chucky, backup your data immediately. 99% sure that this has nothing to do with Black Shark in particular, but with a harddisk which is going to crash very soon.
-
Isn't it just copy/pasting the missions folder to the right location in Black Shark folder?
-
Ok thanks. Strange thing is, I completed the official campaign with only 2 deaths (the first campaign), so I'm not sure why I'm having a hard time with your "easy" mission lol. :D I've been away for some time though, I'll download the trainings pack :) Thanks!

I'm having a hard time with mission one. Have been shot down 2 times in a row. I'm flying really low and follow the waypoints. But the SAMs shoot me down when I'm near the friendly artillery.

I used this one: "Less gamey labels" http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2652217/Less_gamey_labels.html

I'm also on the verge of uninstalling and reinstalling on a different drive. Isn't there an option in the uninstall wizard like "don't remove my profile settings and saves"? Is there a complete list on all files/settings you should backup before uninstalling?

I re-read the vertical landing part in the manual again, and now it all makes perfect sense :) Thanks.
-
So, please correct me if I'm wrong, that basically means that when I'm hovering somewhere in general (like high in the sky, or 20 m above ground) I need almost maximum power to maintain my position. But when I'm going close to the ground and start hovering very low (like a few meters) I need less power to maintain my position?
-
Time to dig up a thread. I have been reading about the Vertical Landing in the manual. But somehow I'm unable to understand the difference between the Vertical Landing using the Rotor in Ground effect and without using the Rotor in Ground effect. I don't really understand what the difference is between the two? Without the RiG effect you hover at 5 meters instead of 3? But as soon as you start descending the RiG effect will occur right? One other thing about landing with a hover: when you touch down, do you press the brake immediately, or do you enable brakes before you touch down? After touchdown I always have problems keeping the bird at the same spot (if you need to land on a really tight spot like the ship in the courier mission), even when resetting the trim function. Most of the times I'll tip over or something like that. I get a feeling it also has to do with the brakes, bringing the bird either to hard to a stop or not at all.
-
Strange thing is that I remember playing this mission about a year back and that I didn't refuel at the start location, and made it all the way to the ship (where I crashed the bird trying to land on it :P).

To talk in popular internet language: OMG Are you guys serious?? That is embarrassing :D
