I get what you want us to do. You want us to fly instruments only and that's great. However with how dark everything is ( because of the time of day ) as well as the storm it's next to impossible to spot anything with Gamma maxed out. I stumbled across Batumi airport on accident. If I didn't spot some of the taxiway signs or the runway I'd never suspect I was there. Then when it comes to depositing the fuel canister on the aircraft carrier the flight from Batumi to there is easy. But once again spotting the aircraft carrier and actually entering a stable hover with the load is next to impossible. I've died 3 times to VRS near the carrier. DCS lighting is <profanity>. Give us some more ambient lighting. Either change the time of day or remove the storm. Mission 8 as is , is for extreme mazochists or helicopter gods.

In this video I demonstrate what is the problem. To recap every time I use the magnetic trim my cyclic locks up. Irl I move my stick but in game nothing happens. After some time or some kind of input it unlocks and works right again until I trim for a different center. The electric trim controlled by the hat switch works fine. No problems there.

I know that in the past several problems have surfaced with the Gazelle but Polychop improved it a lot with the completion of the Kiowa and the rework of the Gazelle. My question is : Is everything working alright or are there major bugs and problems I should know about? Personally I found that the autohover is not very reliable. It deviates over time. Is this something other users are experiencing or is it just me? Additionally I am flying with FFB using a modified Microsoft Sidewinder. The force trim on the helis that have force trim such as the UH1 and the Mi8 works fine. You press and hold the trimmer , you put the stick where you want it ( for example forwards for forward flight ) and off you go. In the gazelle I found that if I do that something weird happens and I lose stick authority. So I am flying forwards at 200kph manual , everything fine. I can pitch and I can roll. But if I trim the stick forwards for forward flight at 200kph when I try to pitch or roll nothing happens. In game stick moves. But no movement is gained. I tested this with autopilot off because I was suspecting something was wrong with the autopilot. Nope. Last but not least I can' seem to find a control option for moving the TV camera. I am forced to use " < > ? : " to move it. These are the things I noticed after a 2 hour session with the thing.

The mission wants you to fly from sochi to nalchik but in the meantime you need to fight a flight of 4 F16A. You are a flight of 4 SU33 and you are supposed to be reinforced by a flight of 2 MIG29 unless I am mistaken. I've tried everything to beat the F16s including lunching early to force them to react as well as cranking and diving into the mountains to escape radar lock. The end result is always the same. F16A destroy me with AIM 120. Doesn't matter if I stay high doesn't matter if I am flying 100 meters from the ground in the mountains it's always a matter of time before I get deleted. The AI doesn't fair better either. Usually all my wingmen die as well as 1 of the two MIGs. I've replayed the mission like 15 times and I can't survive it no matter what. Best result is kill a single F16 and get fucked by his buddie's AIM 120

I didn't even remember I've done this post since no one ever responded. So no I have not fixed it. Could you elaborate on what an injector is? Only thing that's running besides DCS is reshade.

Hi , I am absolutely loving clouds in dcs but at times I get some very weird effects on the clouds. This picture shows some weird horizontal lines. I've also experienced something like a blurry pixelation on clouds in the far distance. I don't mind these things while just playing the game but I really am into cinematics and stuff so if I could possibly resolve this cloud issues it would be great. Anyone that can think of any possible causes?

hi there, what psu do you have in terms of watts? i am afraid 850w will not be enough for the 6900xt and thinking about 1000w to be safe. but how about you?

We are looking at similar prices in europe it seems. I've seen the 6900 outdoing the 3080 in " regular benchmarks " and even go toe to toe with the 3090, the only question is how does that translate to the highly " irregular " DCS and MFS giants. some vr benchmarks showed that the 6900 can pull the same vr frames with the 3090 but the 3090 was smoother ( less dropped frames or red lines in the benchmark ). but again, no comparison between the two within vr. personally I was was aiming for the 3090 but that is back when it was in an ALMOST similar price to the 6900. now that the 3090 has gone full retard I am thinking of going for the 6900. Now 3080 may perhaps make more sense in general but personally can't find it anywhere withing the eu and certainly not with a proper price. Radeon on the other hand it seems that people don't really like so that means within the EU anyhow, higher availability and less insulting prices. However every time I hit F5 on my GPU bookmarks prices go up. For example the 6900 I was aiming for at my payday was 1400 euros and at the moment it has reached 1500something euros. I fear that it's heading down the 3090 path. If it ever gets to the 2000 mark I am just gonna forget about it and either grab a 3080 if its available or a 6800 and fuck off..... HOWEVER, and that's the reason why I am asking for userbase feedback, I am looking to make an informed decision in regards to VR performance with those cards. I've seen a few with the 6800 but not a single one with the 6900....

i sincerely hope we finally see the fabled MSR price, but I am quite the cynic I am afraid.
