Just found this, he explains about 1.6 v rechargeables I didn't know about. I guess this is the info I was looking for. Looks like the first clip was for 1.2 v.

Don't remember, but it was from a HP site. I think some manufactures don't like rechargeables for devices because of 1.2 v vs. 1.5 v of non-rechargeable.

Saw a clip that said they use rechargeable batteries (Panasonic Enloop pro 2500 ma/h) in controllers, but manufacturer says not recommended. Any thoughts?

hansangb, Thank you very much for your comments, hard choices. I'm leaning toward the Reverb G2. About the pimax, I'm not a fan of using light houses, for one thing, & the pitools you mention turns me off. The final turn off, I don't care for the manufacturer. Before I decide I have to learn more about "Windows Mixed Reality", always something needed I don't understand.:unsure:

You provided the answer I was looking for about a single lighthouse, thanks. I never thought a lot about FOV, I guess once you get into play it's not noticed that much. I was reading about VR stuff, & someone said to them it looked like playing from a large sewer pipe, darn, now I'm more aware!:noexpression: Been thinking about the Pimax 8K cus of the wide FOV. If the FOV was more important, could a person live with a little less clarity trade off? Thanks again

HMD are very confusing these days. With all the leaks about features that don't interest me other than, resolution & refresh rate, FOV, comfort,ip adjustment, & sound. Mostly is it supported by DCS, & one other sim (not aircraft) that I play. I don't care so much about PC specs, ( I'll build a faster one) , or price, (trying to spend my kids inheritance). I've owned rift CV1, & S, but now with the FB thing, I'm not sure I want to continue with it. The other sim I play is only available at the rift store, or steam which I have no interest in either. A lot of things to consider about VR.

$75 firm. Lenses/optics have no issues, and touch controllers/sensors work fine. Need new face piece (seen them for about $20), no xbox cotroller. Don't want to ship, so if your in driving range to Laughlin, Nv. to pick up. PM if interested.

I tried it again today, I used the comms menu, & it worked. After that the keybind now is working every time.

Yes, did one after I got the signal, then a couple of them.

Can't get passed the spool up signal (works on occasion). Did repair in case it was an update problem, but no help.

Thanks Furiz, I thought I could maybe copy DCS World & saved games/DCS folders to my other ssd, then do a fresh win10 install, & paste it back. But there needs to entries in the registry etc., right? :unsure:

Thinking about a new OS install, but dreading the huge download. I've seen conversations on moving DCS World from one drive to another, just by copy/paste. Is something like that possible, with a new install?

I usually start DCS with the oculus app, which I prefer until last update. I used Skatezilla's updater for somes things, & it works to start DCS. What changed with this update? How can I get back?
