  1. Back on topic then, is anybody else enjoying how much fun the MiG is to simply just fly? No mission, no targets, just just taking the jet into the sky and cutting loose. I think I spent almost a week just simply flying around in VR before I even looked at any of the combat systems in it. Flying this in VR during a sunrise rain storm in the Caucasus Mountains has probably been my single best VR experience to date on any platform.
  2. As far as quirks and details, the other day I got a little hamfisted throwing the jet around with the damper off to try to do a mini-cobra and compressor stalled the engines. Was a pleasantly unexpected unpleasant surprise. One engine re-lit with the auto restart, the other wouldn't catch and I had to put it in Cut-off then do a single engine emergency landing.
  3. In the Airdromes tab there's an entry for the runway PRMG channel, unless the runway has a default channel set in the map itself you have to set it to match the PRMG car you placed.
  4. Did you set channel 3 in DTC for Senaki?
  5. This is how you want to bind the Warthog Throttles if you want to use the Cutoff detent. Pulling it over the detent will place the MiG throttle to OFF, bringing the throttle back forward to IDLE will place the MiG throttle in IDLE.
  6. If you watch carefully, you can even see it in Wags "How to Start a MiG-29A Fighter" video around the 14:02 mark.
  7. Do you have the appropriate PRMG and RSBN channels setup in the DTC? In the example here, everything correctly switches automatically from Return to Landing mode while using the RSBN and PRMG cars.
  8. nullWell, Wags did say it was a bit of a rocket ship in his take-off video
  9. I feel like Krymsk confuses the system because both runway ends use the same PRMG channel. Return mode works as expected until the handoff to Landing mode. Happens regularly to me when testing RWY 22. Meanwhile on the same flight I can quickly hop East to Krasnodar-Center and have it all work perfectly on RWY 09.
  10. If you try to takeoff in AUTO at default trim of 12NU, you're going to have a bad time. As long as you have your trim set at or below 4NU it will takeoff in AUTO without much issue other than getting CHECK FLAPS and CHECK TRIM warnings. CHECK FLAPS will go away once you retract the gear, CHECK TRIM will go away once you exceed roughly 10AOA. Regardless of the warnings the jet still handles just fine. auto takeoff.trk
  11. You can successfully take off in Flaps AUTO, just need to ensure you trim down from the default 12NU to 4NU. This is the configuration the CF-188 demo team uses for their Dirty Roll Take-off routine and works just fine in the DCS jet.
  12. That's not a setting, that's instructions on how the different VR interactions work. Which is why 6of6, if I recall correctly, says "I don't know what this does" for certain hand controller buttons.
  13. I know it wasn't in the patch notes, but just tested and this issue still exists in version 2.9.4.53549. Is there any traction on this besides "Purchase the SC module"?
  14. 100% reproducible by not having the Super Carrier Module installed as per the other thread on this issue.
  15. Is this being tested internally both with and without the SC module installed? Because the controls remaining locked up after launch is still occurring in build 2.9.3.51704 without the SC module installed.
