Desappointing, Hope I missed something in announce but it seems we will only have access to full price release.. strange commercial practices to forget steam users. We were used to get things later, but it's a new level..

bug still there I confirm the bug is still there.. pretty frustating.. everything I want to test is bugged lately..

I swore myself not to buy any new module until core is updated to descently work in VR. I invested in a i7 9700k 32Go and 2080s and valve index, virpil stick, a lot of modules to look at... a diaporama! No offense I love DCS but I really think it's time to forget 90's technologies for the core, I do understand the complexity and the challenge to migrate on a new graphical engine or at least get a significant improvement but I do believe it's an absolute necessity to shine in future. 2.5.6 doesn't go in right direction in my point of view.. we struggled to get a descend fps framerate in 2.5.5, by using a lot of tweaks and custom shaders made by third parties which are more concerned of VR performance than ED and finally, last update put us back on starting point for few lighting improvements, nice but not with the price of 30% fps. I really hope ED will really take care of VR soon, Then I would be happy to buy again :)

Is it supposed to be solved? I still have a lot of black flickering on one eye in VR, I decided to continue bf 109 jagdflieger campaign (mission 4) and it was a real nightmare, France to England <> England to France with this stromboscopic effect, it was more a psychologic test than a plane simulation.. I didn't sleep after that. Fortunately (I must say) the game crashed before the end of mission! First time I felt releaved after a game crash.. Usually I only feel sad when I think of price invested in all these modules. Sorry for sarcarsm but sometimes I hate DCS as much I love it! So hope the core would have same attention than all these new modules in future.

I have that all the time it's pretty annoying, I flicker sometimes only on one eyes and even if you close your eyes you still have like a stromboscope through eyelids! I'm wondering if ED will start to investigate on it for once :/ DCS is really not optimized for VR, I can't believe they don't improve on this support which is for sure the future of simulation. Yesterday I played a F16 mission, there were some fog on ground. This fog was flickering all the mission long, it was just unplayable except if you're ok to finish in a mental asylum before the end of mission. I gave up and stop using DCS, once again after multiple hundered box of investment in modules it's pretty frustrating. I don't even speak about "DCS has crashed" message which happen pretty often!
