Some new screens in high altitude.

I search to have better details on agricultural's fields because the sat imagery is not very beautifull. Like doing a lake on the tutorial, i made a new shape, i linked it to the dummy, and i use Maxsuperficial to declare it on a field. But how i choose the texture. Must i declare it on 3DSmax with UVW mapping ? I made also LOD2 but i haven't tested it in-game. A 40X40 km square have 4000 faces and a 10X10km have 300 faces. In LOD2, the 40 Km square is about 2000 faces. The 20 Km is 15 to 500 faces Tanks for your help, i will send you later a 40Km square

I have some difficulies with fields. I understood how put a field in place on the mesh. But how choose the field texture of the new shape ?

The resolution of the mesh data is from the radar shuttle of Endeavor. The resolution is about 1 pixel for 90m The textures are from satelite imagery. The resoltion is about 1 pixel for 30m But i will probalbly rework the texture for more details. I hope the scene will be the most realistic than we can do in DCS. Ok thanks, that works with 2008. Some question enough : What is the maximal size of a map on DCS ? I have a ground with no sea. How many squares of 40km can i put ?

Hi, I began to work on a new ground : The North of Afghanisthan First render of a 40km square I have some problems with the plungins install, i have a 127 code error on all the ED plugins when 3dsmax8 start. Any ideas ? I saw also there is or there will be a new forum for 3rd party developers ?
