The animations and dommages had been finished ? If you want i can test it ? but if ou lost the original 3D files....it will be hard to changes anything !

I have finished to assemble the basic map. I am redoing color texture at this time and add some lakes, big rivers, and agricultural field with higher texture.
I will post some screen soon.
I haven't try to use assemblescene.exe ! I haven't understood what it use for ?
For the new tools, i hope our 3DSmax files will can be use for the new terrain format...

2 questions for my afghanistan map :
For the LOD2, do i need to reduce the number of verticles ? or just lighter textures are good ?
For the border of map, do you have an idea to have basic land and not sea ?

The land_0.max is a specific file for the LOD 0 !
You can get it on the examples files on wiki
You need to export it on a file call Land.lsa2 and also declare the material.lma on the plugins
After you need to open you own max file.
Select all the dummies (helpers) and export (with the plugin) in LOD 1 to the same land.lsa2.
The documentation are very good, i do my ground in following the doc, and specially the "creating land lesson". For the base scenary all you need is described.
Like Luckybob9 says, ask specific question of what you don't understood.
In the first screen there wasn't noise effect, so the ground textures are not very detailled.
The last screens are taken at 8000 meters, and there is no LOD for the moment.
