  1. @Nikwax74 not moving forward is an issue with this campaign. The need to follow everything by the milimeter is too high and create these problems. It is too bad as I used to love the campaign that Baltic Dragon builded but this one is so scripted that it is very frustrating hence I stopped it.
  2. Hi @Badger633 thank you for your quick response. Unfortunately, I don't have a track of it. I am not running any mods. I have the last update from DCS. I play in default (not ace) I tried 3 times: - the first 2, the wingman crashed (I never saw him crashed but in both, there was a ball of fire on the dam and I couldn't see him anymore on the radar and never got the messages) - the last try was the successful one: the wingman did his thing and then I did one pass and got the success. So at the end, it seems that it was the crash of the wingman that caused the issue. Love your campaign so far, it has the right amount of difficulty without being too difficult and also good amount of radio. Thanks for the excellent work. Best, Cobra
  3. Hello Badger, Love your campaign so far. Mission 4: - Flew 2 times but failed at killing all the soldiers. My wingman crashed twice so I was waiting for the message (clear to engage) but never came. I decided to go anyway...did a first pass..didn't kill all the soldiers so they spaced out and it made it impossible on the second pass to kill all the rest. Twice mission failed. 3rd tried, all worked well. Wingman didn't crash and mission success
  4. You are welcome, happy to help. And I guess the mission creator could have mentioned the full digits including the zero missing...this would have made it easier for the players On that mission (M3)and these coordinates, you will find it. Be patient as he is in the middle of trees so there is a good chance you won't see it until you are vertical ..as the trees covers him. Good luck !!!
  5. Hi Nikwax74, I agree with you on finding a object that is 5 miles away from the coordinates is not really great and I struggled on this too. One thing that I did a mistake during the first time flying that mission is that grid coordinates need 10 numbers so if there are not 10 numbers on the coordinates, you need to add a zero at the end of the 4 digit. In your example, you should have entered 90490 24760 . Try one more time with the zero at the end and you should find some ground troups. Note that it isn’t always the case the the coordinates will give you the precise location of the troups as at least in 2 examples that I remember, it is just giving you a starting point to search.
  6. Thanks for the hint. I actually advised before on this. I had done that mistake on the first time i flew the mission. @baltic_dragon I found out some of my issue. I used the external MFD and the contrast isn't similar and cannot be change hence some of my issues of finding ground troups. But unfortunately in mission 3, I faced exactly what I mentioned before on the trigger. I did everything until the house, I forgot to press space before attacking the vehicles, bombed them, then came back, pressed the space bar, gunned the house....then no radio anymore... flew back to the base (parked where I should (i checked on youtube where people parked)...score 50. mission failed. This is ridiculous....worse case you could give the player not the full points to penalise them not having followed the full radio protocol... This is exactly the point I mentioned before, why making a mission success stuck with so thin triggers. It is just non sense or it just tell players that they are evoluting in the narrow tunnel and shouldn't do any different. But even worse...I flew it another time, got all the radio to the end..and no mission success. In conclusion, the trigger are really messed up and no interest to pursue this campaign. Really regret my purchase.
  7. Hi Baltic Dragon, I fully understand you on our frustration...I had done some mission for my previous squad and that happened and I didn't have your drive and motivation on DCS to update them. I am a full supporter of your work as I started to play your campaigns with the Mirage and bought others once from you. I don't have any mods installed but maybe it is my graphic settings that might create some issues. However, these are my experiences so far with your campaign hence the frustation: M1: flew it 4-5 times. 1st and 2nd time, couldn't find the targets. 3rd time, found them. 4th time, didn't find the first one but said I saw it, found the second one and mission success M2: flew is 4 times: 1st time, could find the bombers, 2nd, 3rd find the bombers, at some stage you have a trigger, they disappeared and could never find them although i used the awacs (f10). 4th time, same issue...searching them for ever, got a message that it is all sorted, landed...mission success without having shot any missiles nor shot down any airplanes M3: flew it 4 times- arrived on WP3, got the smokes..trying to follow the road north during 5 miles (as disclosed by the awac)...couldn't find any vehicles. During one try, I followed the road with the plane, got shot down by the vehicles..crashed where they werer...went on the map, took the coordinates...next mission, entered the coordinates and it wasn't at the place where I crashed. Looking for a target that is 5 miles away from the coordinates is questionnning on the quality on the intel...especially as you did put clouds in the mission So hope you see also my frustration. When I read that one of the guys on the forum tried 12 times a mission...I couldn't do that as the mission would become so boring. maybe it I will try to see if the graphic settings can help. I will try M3 a last time with other settings. best, Cobra
  8. well, tried one more time (total 5) and found the bomber, got closer, maybe had used the trigger too early than the 800 feet, got in very close formation of the tanker for about 10 minutes and then nothing happened. Why making campaigns with such "sensitive" triggers...as we know, it will most likely messed the mission. I am so fed up with too scripted campaign...one of the last i bought we had to do coding passwords to open next missions..now again .scripted kills the fun...I regret my purchase.
  9. to input the coordinates, you add a waypoint and then on the UFC, you click on the grid button, select NQ then type the coordinates and enter and that is it. The flir should be on the ground units or very close @Lord Reaveractually, the way to type coordinates is that we need to add a 0 at the end of each 4 digits ie: NQ 90930 26650 After 4 flights, I was able to find the vehicule but quite far from the coordinates (why then having coordinates if they are that far...I felt playing cluedo instead of flying ) then i got the second coordinates, find the vehicles. Don't forget to tape it otherwise, nothing will happen anymore...then got the message for the russian plane, couldn't find it...nothing on the SA (the message comes from the E3 so they must have it on the radar). I went toward the vector (049..something) but was short of fuel so never made it I really find the scripting campaign really bad in general as the scripting is too narrow and it removes a lot of the fun. I flew 4 times this first mission and already get frustrated and bored ...and I am only at the first mission of the campaign. is the save function working for this campaign ?
  10. Hello, Came back to DCS after spent time on Falcon BMS campaigns. Tried Mission 01 and did enter the coordinates NQ 9049 2476 and there is nothing. I cannot find the vehicles. Anybody has a clue where the vehicles are. I tried twice and same issue......started to be frustrated again by the scripting part of DCS. Thanks in advance for your help.
  11. Hi Home Fries, Thank you for your quick answer and your amazing profile. Looking forward for the next version..even if we need to wait, it isn't an issue as it is so good. I did PM my tmc file. All the best, Cobra
  12. Hi Home Fries, I haven't played for a long time and I tried today to load CTS but I had this. I tried to uninstall + delete everything, reinstall but same issue. Could you help ? Compile Error: Symbol not found: Custom_Master_LUA_F14 in DCS_World.tmc at line 159
  13. @Badger633 Thanks for your help and the very good videos. I was my mistake....I have now seen the bullseye information on the kneeboard. I tried the mission 1 again and this time everything worked...and I do enjoy the campaign so far, very clear explainations or comms so that we are not confused on what to do congratulations for the work. kind regards, Cobra
  14. Good evening@Badger633 thank you for your help. I need to look again at the kneeboard..I just have missed it. I need to check also if there is a bingo fuel that is recommended. Best, Cobra
  15. I had the same issue. first time i tried the mission, it worked. however, I failed the mission as I couldn't find the airplane. I didn't setup the bullseye and was trying to find the info on the kneeboard (it is on the separated doc but not on the kneeboard) second time, i had the failed mission after i used the trigger for the second pass of my wingman. I actually had the failed mission before the gbu did hit the boat.
