  1. Thanks Kegetys for your work to keep this MOD updated, essential for many VR users -as is my case. I in particular have always tried to keep the original visual aspect of the simulator as much as I could. For this maintenance, original files from the DCS folders themselves, instead of replacing them with the ones proposed by your MOD. Reaching an optimal performance / visual compromise. To date there has been no problem keeping the original DCS file "water.fx". When I install the one that comes with its mod, I lose the transparent effect of the sea and rivers -and it is an effect that I would not like to lose from the simulator. But since version 2.5.6, if you don't include the "water.fx" file of your MOD, the water looks crystal clear and completely transparent. Giving an unreal feeling. View this forum post to verify how rivers and lakes flow on the Caucasus map. I've been testing for a few days editing the file "water.fx" and it got muddy the river water, but in the sea you can still see the bottom ... I don't know if this is the file you will have to touch, I am going to do trial and error trials. Can you guide me which file should I look at? Could an alternate MOD file be made that would keep the water as seen in DCS? If you use your "water.fx" the water looks very dark and on the Gulf map it looks very sad. Actually for me it would be enough with a MOD that simply allows to represent what is visible with the viewer (corner cropping). And also that the MSAA applies specifically to the central zone. Personally with a MOD that only did this it would be enough for me: When I turn off the MSAA I gain a lot of fps but I see a lot of brightness and with its MOD I remove enough brightness and the performance does not suffer. However in the previous update: 2.5.6.45317, with the active mod I saw the rivers with a brown tint and the bottom was not seen except on the banks of the rivers and lakes. Otherwise I still see the spectacular Persian Gulf and Black Sea with the correct same shades of previous version 2.5.6 Hope that helps...

I don't know if this has already been reported and perhaps it is unimportant: the left landing gear is not visible from the cockpit.:music_whistling: The right one I can see pick up and on the ground. Better in flight because the shock absorber is fully extended...but never the left one ?! I am in VR. Regards!

I tried to create only the part of the floor without walls (just the first step)...it didn't work either. Creating the whole Guardian and disabling from the dash - or whatever it's called) both the walls and the whole Guardian didn't work either. As I don't have a Guardian because it deletes itself as soon as I turn off the occult process I can't delete it as some people suggest. The thing is that I later touched something in the "Rift S and Touch" control panel without putting on my glasses, in the "Settings and Assistance" menu but I don't remember exactly what. I think it was the "viewfinder adjustment and focus". But from then on I couldn't skip creating the Guardian directly with the mouse - which is what I had been doing for the last month: I got the warning about the undetected driver and the existence of the Guardian. However, when I configured the Guardian this time, it did keep it even when I left the Oculus application, so the problem was solved.:thumbup: "JasonJ" It was not necessary to disconnect the viewer at any time, this step was the next one I planned to take, but for the moment it's fine again.   7. ...a Rift S question: For a month or so I've had a failure with the Guardian, I used to set it up and then take the batteries out because I don't need it for DCS and there was no problem, I'd go into the simulator and on the menu screen I'd see the guard's recertification for a few seconds. Then flying if I approached the limits the crosses were shown... all normal. Even if I took off my glasses to go to the bathroom when I came back everything was the same. But now every time I start the simulator or any time I put on the glasses I get the happy sign to re-create the Guardian, the same thing every time I lift them and the sensor of the forehead has detected that I have removed: I will have to reconfigure the Guardian: Put battery in the control and configure it or directly skip the step and not create it. This is what I do because whether I configure the Guardian or not, every time I take off my glasses and put them on, it goes to that menu of the configuration in which I see my table and the monitor through the Rift? camera! The lighting conditions are still the same as when I didn't have the problem, so I don't get it? Since the problem has already been updated a couple of times and we are still in the same. Is anyone else having the same problem?! It's a bit frustrating but at least I can still fly... Gentle greetings!!!
  8. ...my results: 2.5.5: 200 fps 2.5.5 + mod shaders: 300 fps 2.5.6: 170 fps I see that it goes to me at 40 fps with drops (Rift S PD 1.2) Flat shadows and MSAA x2 We will try to see how it goes with the MOD and how much the graphics degrade - which by the way are really spectacular! Greetings

In TOMCAT they also saw each other - or so I think I remember, even when there was no body modeling. Regarding what you say about the F-14, it is logical... A year ago about that?   10. Does anyone know what happened to the pilot's shadows projected on the cockpit dome? In previous versions both the Hornet and Tomcat were visible and gave an extraordinary immersion in virtual reality. I observe while in the Tomcat as a pilot I can see the shadow of my RIO, but I can´t see mine. Curiously if I alternate to the position of the RIO then I don't see its shadow, but that of the pilot appears?! I can´t see my shadow in the Hornet anymore. In this at least they fixed the shadow of the seat, that one season the headrest appeared hollow in its shadow. Is there anyone who gets to see his shadow on the cockpit/canopy. Sorry if this topic has already been reported, I remember a member has already told abaut it, but did not find its publication again.   16. Hello everyone and merry Christmas! Does anyone of you have a rift in a Ryzen 3000 platform? In my case there is a question that worries me: When launching the Rift, the W10's energy plan is changed from "AMD Ryzen High pefomance" to "high performance". Has anyone noticed? I don't know if this is the cause of but I am randomly having a problem starting the PC where the processor gets stuck at 0.5GHz. For now, with a restart it is fixed. I ride a 3700x on an Aorus x570 Pro with 32Gigas at 3600. The BIOS version is the F10. I wait for an answer that can help me... Thanks and best regards

  18. I fly the FlamingCliffs 1.12b I´ve tried several versions of drivers. Also I have tried with the vertical sync. and the triple buffrering because someone said to me, that the effect calls tearing?! but the problem but the problem was kept! Whem I arrive at home I´ll try to it of modify the file "graphics.cfg" Thanks a lot!
  19. Hello, I am a supporter of the saga Flanker :pilotfly:and now I flight the Lock On. I have a problem with the simulator. I don´t know if it is a real problem :unsure:but it is very uncomfortable for me:furious:. I tell us in the following paraphrase: 1. There are situations which Lock On don´t run in continuos (like jumps or breaks). In a dogfight, other plane which went in front of my cockpit, appeared and disappeared, and the zone where we overflew was in a open area, not over a city!:angry: Happens the same when I flew over the carrier. When I use the Track-lr in order to see it, when I pass, I feel an unpleasant sensation: as when the image stops for a moments and follows: feeling small stops even though the frames do not have time to vary or decrease drastically.:huh: 2. Making a turn flying over a village and watching the streets and buildings, they often notice small breaks in the landscape. At the beginning, I thought it was they were jerks induced stall, but these are different from when you advised of the maximum angle of attack and starts to vibrate. 3. With my previus computer (PentiumIV and a 7800GT) I didn´t pass me this. Another example: Flying over overcast sky and in the Flyby view (F3) happens the following: · External view (F2) flying an only plane away with overcast sky: 60-70 frames. · An approaching plane: the frames remain in 60-70. · When the plane is about to go and begins to fly away, happends in three or four jumps with the frame over 30. · If maintaining the view when you see the plane leaves, while making a turn in order to make another pass, it appears that the camera rotates to follow the turn, but does not smoothly: appreciate small stops and jumps!:furious: All this happened since I use my new computer, even with the minimum configuration of my graphics card and the options within the simulator to a minimum. I use a clean installation, without any MODs. Reduce the quality and quantity of details and objects increases performance, obviously Lock-On runs with more frames but the problem remains.:no_sad: My current computer has the following specifications: · Computer processing unit: INTEL QUAD 6600 2.4 GHZ (WIHTOUT OVERCLOCK). · Graphics card: BFG 8800GT 512 MB (WITHOUT OVERCLOCK). · Computer memory: 4Gb. · Operation system: XP sp3. When I am flying, I don´t have another program run in background. Antivirys, antispyware, internet, …, all of them are disabled. Only Lock-On, Track-lr, Cougar and rudder are running.:joystick: I wait your responses. At least tell me if you fly at low altitude when you experience this feeling.
