Hi Sublime, I'll convert the iran-irak Tomcat for you to the newest version so you can install it the same way you installed the other campaigns. Just note that it has a mod you need to active with JSGME. I'll convert it later on my lunch break. At work right now.

Excellent patch ED! keep it up. Anyone else having a problem with the vr hand controllers in the Mig21Bis? For the rift S, when I squeeze the hand grip, the vr hand snaps to the throttle then the stick would follow your hand movements. I can't click anything in the cockpit.

Reporting that the most recent OB patch broke the Mig21 vr hand controls for the rift S at least. When you activate the grip button anywhere in the cockpit the virtual hand snaps to the throttle but automatically becomes either a stick control. The stick would follow your hand movements, and you can not click any buttons or switches in the cockpit.

I Noticed that you have the Indo-Pak Campaign. If those are working, could you please copy either one's Firstmission.bat file to the desert tiger folder and run it from there. Those are basically the same file. At least we know the ones from Indo-Pak are working. Also please make sure that the BAT_Firstmission.lua file is in the ScriptsMOD folder.

can you go to the mods/tech/DCE folder and check if you have a folder there named ScriptsMod?

Hi Chicki, When you edit the First Mission bat file it should look like this (be mindfull of the "): (You can copy and paste this actually) start "Generate First Mission" cmd /k ""F:\My Games\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\luae.exe" ..\..\..\ScriptsMOD\BAT_FirstMission.lua" If you still couldn't get it to work. Please send a screenshot of the error. I suspect you may have the same issue with Redline on the previous posts. Because if the path to luae.exe is incorrect the cmd window would just close.

Hi Redliner, When you open the zip file, you would see the PDF, the DCS_Missionscript_mod folder and the tech folder. Please go into the tech folder, then into DCE, and you should see the ScriptsMod folder there along with the Missions folder and entry.lua file.

I see the problem. You have the old scripts folder in Saved Games/DCS/mods/tech/DCE. Please go into the zip file and copy the folder named ScriptsMOD. And paste that into saved games/DCS/mods/tech/DCE

Hi Redliner, Please check step 2 of the PDF file to see if the DCE folder looks exactly like that. You could try to copy the ScriptMod folder in the zip file package to \Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech\DCE\ If that doesn't work, can you please send a screenshot of your \Saved Games\DCS\Mods\tech\DCE\ScriptsMod folder?

Hi Chicki, it's installed in the exact same way the other new campaigns are installed. The PDF installation file included in those New Campaigns can be used for the Desert Tiger Sorry I haven't packaged it yet like the other campaigns. That is my first conversion and I don't know if I missed anything. Once it checks out, I'll package it properly and start helping out converting the other campaigns. I do have a C101 version of this campaign. Not for the faint of heart, you are slow and have absolutely no countermeasures. If you would want to try it out, I'll send you a link.

That happened to me several times. It happens at random. I just sit there and wait.. And eventually it loads. The longest I had to wait was about 3-5mins I think. It was when I spawned an Mi-8 on the Supercarrier. I literally looked around, went to F2, then back in the cockpit. And just sat there waiting. Eventually it loaded. -
sure. Let me just run a few missions first to remove bugs. I found the frequencies need tweaking.

Hi PB0, I was able to convert Desert Tiger to the newest version of DCE, and to use the C101CC instead (it's a real challenge). I used Nellis AFB for the initial movable bullseye in conf_mod.lua Do you need help converting the other older DCEs in NTTR to the newest version?

Holy **** that must have been a lot of work. Thank you ED!!! But since the performance of open beta is ok now. I think I'll stick to playing my open beta install.. Why? Because lighting and clear water.

Lol the stable just got updated with practically all the open beta stuff. Good thing you guys already have this open beta ready.

Although not a specific unit of measurement. I can say that since the spercarrier patch, I haven't played my stable install yet, since my open beta install performance is almost at par with my stable installation.

Lol I didn't know that anything was wrong. The A-10 crashing, AV8B spawning inside another plane and rearming at a FARP I thought were bugs related to the dynamic campaigns I was playing. The F14 AIM7, I thought was just the enemy's sense of self preservation. Good job ED!

I would suggest running a repair on your installation. Just out of curiousity, which changelog are you looking at? Because the changes on the Mig21 and AV8B are on the previous patch. Not this latest patch.
