I might be wrong, but the reason the Russian version is not easily available to western customers is the fact that you can easily modify it to be an English version (at least 95% of it). So some people might have the idea to get the cheap Russian version, modify it and not get the more expensive western version when it comes out, resulting in loss of sale and less $$$ for ED. Again this is just my opinion, I'm not all sure about all that 'Russian version got compromised = Russian version available only to CIS customers' bit. It was their decision making, based on whatever problems or fears they encountered.

By the way they are REALLY slow at confirming your payment, I ordered mine on Wednesday last week and I still haven't received confirmation for the payment. :/

No, I believe if you go to a previous step there is a roll out menu for selecting what kind of customer you are. If you select 'physical face' or something like that you wont have the option for an activation code and all should go fine. I don't remember what that option was I just remember I had it asking me for an activation code as well, i went back a step and selected something different from a roll out menu (i think there are only 2 options in that roll out menu). If you go back a step and take a screenshot I may tell you what to do more accurately.

Its saying they will ship it once they receive payment. Did you pay for it? If not then you should go back to your cart and check the last step, select the payment method and enter your credit card details. The payment method page should be after the last screenshot in my guide.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before. I was under the impression that no matter what the outcome of the mission, fail or success, you continue to the next mission under different stages. So say you don't actually accomplish your primary objective, will you have to refly the mission? In reality you would accept the fact that you failed and continue with a now more dangerous and harder missions due to your failure in the previous mission.

Thats just my guess, it may take a few days to reach Austria. But it may take 10 weeks to reach some remote village in Zimbabwe. :P

I didn't see any shipment times but I expect it to be 2-10 weeks for international shipment, depending on the shipment method and your geographic location.

No, I didn't receive my copy yet, I ordered yesterday. It didn't mention the shipping time but I expect it to be from 2-10 weeks. Even though when I ordered Lomac FC from Russia it took only 2! days to reach Canada. They probably flew it and air dropped it with Tu-160 :P

It looks like a big online store that ships different kinds of products around the world and has a lot of payment options. There is only one way to check if its safe or not.

As far as I know, the Russian download version will NOT be available at all. Yeah I know, I was planning to buy the download version myself. The only option for you right now is to buy the Russian version from an internet store like I did (See the buying Russian version thread for more details). Or you can wait for the western release. :) Good luck

LOL @ carrier pigeons :) I did get it from qpig.ru. The most expensive shipping option is the International (Air) as opposed to the International (Railway). And yes I do speak Russian, thats why I'm getting the Russian version. :)

Hehe, or black shark caviar! mmm I paid 640 rubles for the DVD box and 180 rubles for the shipping. That's around 26USD. :)

I just ordered it, lets see what happens. :)
