  1. Some more progress on the panel detailing... Gun port is mostly just a block-in and very much a WIP (as is the rest of the aircraft ofc). I'll return to it later :)
  2. She's coming together panel by panel..
  3. There certainly is! https://discord.gg/WwkXJ86
  4. I've noticed the same thing. I am also having a few more issues - clicking the export button (where Rudel has circled above) leads to a crash of 3DS Max. I can get around this by exporting from File>Export, however, it does not include the collision_lines.

  6. Hey all, This is more or less the way we have decided to take things - we don't want to rush things and we want to give the SLUF the love and attention that it deserves. As mentioned above, the release date will be a while away so I wouldn't think about it too much. I was also wondering if anyone has access to an A-7 exterior and/or interior nearby and would be willing to capture images/video(if/when it is safe to do so, of course) so we can recreate it with photogrammetry? If you'd be interested in helping us out, please DM me, or send me an email at alex (@)flyingiron(dot)com(dot)au Rest assured, you will see more progress updates in the coming weeks/months. Cheers, Alex
  7. Hi Razor, Development is still in it's early stages, and we are currently working on basic system & FM coding. Unfortunately, this isn't the most interesting thing to talk about, hence the lack of updates on our part. Once we get over this hurdle and I get back to working on the A-7 art full-time, we will have more regular updates to share. Cheers, Alex Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  8. Haha you could look at it that way... To quote our Facebook mini-update on the F-117 development;
  9. What specific/era A-7E will we be releasing? We haven't chosen an exact aircraft just yet, but it would most likely be mid-late 80's, around aircraft change 421 (BuNo. 156802). Again, nothing is set in stone just yet, but ideally the A-7E will have FLIR & HARMS. When will we be releasing it? We can't give you an accurate estimate for at least a few more months, but we do hope to release it late this year. Is it carrier-based? Yes.
  10. Hi everyone, I'm Alex, the Lead Artist & Co-Founder of FlyingIron Simulations. I'd like to thank everyone on behalf of FlyingIron for the overwhelming support, and for welcoming us to the DCS community, it truly means the world to us. We are incredibly excited to bring this iconic aircraft to DCS World and we are glad to see that you guys share our excitement. Whilst the aircraft is in its very early stages of development, feel free to ask any questions and either Dan or myself will try our best to answer them. Our development progress will be posted on various social media channels that can be seen in my signature below. We will also get a thread going somewhere in there forums here. Cheers, Alex
