Please, do paste code as (i've just started with script and) i am still balancing between MIST and MOOSE. It will help me to understand: 1. That this can be done 2. And how this can be done Thank you, again :thumbup: PS: Please (if it is possible) be brief, not just headlines as i want to understand how things works. Not looking for a "ready solution". In fact, if i understand how to transfer "properties" from one group to another, it will open a wide horizon ahead to all of the other classes and tables that DCS is using "on-the-fly".
  2. Hello. I've setup 4 different groups with LATE ACTIVATION. Every group, have been placed in different starting point location with NO FURTHER WAYPOINTS, besides their 1st one (birth waypoint numbered as 0). A 5th GROUP with just 1 UNIT, have been set to follow a route of 10 waypoints. Is it possible to pass all the waypoints of the 5th group to the rest 4, so no matter their starting location, to start following the 10 waypoints route of the 5th ? Meaning, if GROUPS can SHARE or EXCHANGE waypoints between them. Thank you.

  4. Hello. Following the download link found the recent MIST version mist_4_3_74.rar at GitHub. Searching inside some demo missions (that i've download recently), mist_4_4_78.lua version found inside the Cold War Dogfight2lite.miz. Is there another download link (besides forums.eagle.ru) that indeed leads to the most recent release version ? Thank you.
  5. I would suggest to limit the armory. Use boats to deliver suplies and convoys from the other side. This will arise a protective role for both sides to protect their suppliers using different roles.
  6. Pikey yes this is exactly what i ment: Pseudo-Countries just for ME purposes. Ok (Finally:)) i've setup my own template for every terrain so no need every time to choose red, neutral, blue. (USAF Aggressors option, is bypassing the limits): As for the table, there could be a new table or an array that will contain all the rest of the tables of all the rest of the Countries. With LUA MIST or MOOSE i can declare my custom ones, so to pass values to the DCS registers or to use/redirect those that already pre-set in there. Just a thought from programmers point of view. Sure, you know better.

(CUSTOMERS 1st, right ? :):):)) My friend. while i am setting up a mission i have in mind the scenario that will run. I just want to use any available unit to fullfill slots for both MP sides. I want to explain, that is a matter of practical and not a matter of reality, of what every Country has in it's own real armory. And according your point of view (i respect) i can give you an example of what i have found: I am Greek. Well, regarding the Naval Greek armory, in DCS, there is just a maned boat! Greece have Submarines, Destroyers, Perrys, frigates etc to cover 3 seas. Aegean, Ionian Medditerenean. But none of these are available in DCS, once i choose Greece to place these units. So, something is missing in DCS, according the reallity. Thank you. This, was just a suggestion, from the Mission Editor point of view. PS: My coallition NEW MISSION settings: RED = China, Russia, Turkey, USA BLUE= Greece, USAF Aggressors so i can use for both sides the same units, plus China just for the J-11A. I am missing the RED side's SU33 that is usable just in USAF side. I've just started with MIST and MOOSE. Experience with Delphi and C++

Its been the 10nth time that i am trying to setup a template with all available aircrafts/helis and ground units (for every terrain) and i am restarting because of the SIDE/COUNTRY limitations. It will be a good addition for Mission Editor to give the ability (no matter Countries) to have RED all units & BLUE all units in two coallition options (like USAF aggressors). Thank you.

  11. Hello. Whenever i try to use SSK 877 Submarine (Fire at point) ME is crashes all the time. Any other usable Submarine to do the firing ?:) Thank you.
  12. Olddog Thank you my friend for your reply and for the link :thumbup:. I just started with scripting and checking Mist & Moose. Sure will offer much more than the ME in so many cases. But, my question (as for Attack Group & Attack Unit) is still there, as i want to know if these options in the Advanced Waypoint Section, are working or not. Thank you
  13. Hello. I've just found out that MLRS and PALADIN units are not taking seriously the commands where and what to fire at. Fire at Point, is working ok. But once i've tried Attack Group or Attack Unit seems that they ignoring the command, or maybe the commands in options are not active or i am not doing it properly (for sure :)). That's why i am asking. Thank you PS: Is there a way to pass coordinates so them to update, hence to renew their target spot in real time ? (I've simulate this by using 4 small trigger zones and 4 different Fire At Point markers once enemy units are in Zones, but even though they miss the targets as they need 4 minutes to reload. They are not following Groups or Units.)
  14. Yes it is fixed (as for the damage, 60% better) but AMRAAMS seems to miss a lot of a target (Slave or Bore) now. I've checked it against 4 x F5s, H2H, and they dodge it very easily, like nothing was threaten them. In my opinion, its too much for this missile.
  15. Hello. Same mission with a Mirage as opponent (Excelent), it took 3 AMRAAMS-C, and it was just damaged. Seems that AI are cheating somehow!:) Serioucly now, something is wrong with the C missile.

  18. For example: I want to get the number of CLIENTS that have connected, so to ACTIVATE equal number of enemies in front of them. Now, i have to: Unit A1 (from the A group of four) if is alive to INCREASE a FLAG COUNTER. And this multiply 36 times in ME, just to get the number of CLIENTS! What is the VARIABLE to get the SUM of the connected CLIENTS ? It should be that simple, like: VAR CLIENTS(i) What is the variable NAME ? PS: Is it secret ???:mad::mad::mad:
  19. Hello. At 1st, allow me to explain my thinking: I can't programming while i dont know the routines & the variables that an already engine is using. Ok, DCS Mission Editor language is LUA. But what about the script variables that DCS is using ? Blank! This is my thinking. Hense i am asking for the DCS variables that i can use in scripts. I couldn't find them anywhere. Just as visual limited enviroment inside the Mission Editor. Any further help to my search, will be appreciated. Thank you.

  22. Hello. I think you can try to find out by learning and using the RANDOM function and then change the group that the client will spawn. (using different group placement locations) Sure you have to check scripting as Moose and MST I can't provide further information, as i've recently started to create missions and i am not that experient. Some one more experient in here could give you more better info.
