Yes, on all WWII server that has clouds same issue. I thought it maybe the heavy populated area but, Steel Balls has same area with clouds that BS has and I have no issue with BS, only ACG, BS and the others. I know Redshoes has some frame rate issue as well with out VR but, he sometimes runs VR though. Let's test it out and I will report back to you tomorrow. Also, I did my own test with a bare mission in the same area with and with out clouds and with the clouds had same issue. Thanks for helping DefaultFace, Check SIx! Edit: I forgot that Steel Balls has one mission with out clouds in same area as BS...I flew it tonight with out any issues.

Hey Guys, The labels seem to be turned off and it was hard to see anything today. Hopefully the labels will be back on soon. I did a test on my pc with and without clouds in the same area and with out clouds no jitteriness, a few other experience the same thing. Would be nice to test it on your server with out clouds. I understand if you want clouds on there. Great mission by the way. S!

Server down?

It's been a few patches back maybe last year sometime but, I remember squdmates and I had this issue where we could not see one us setting on the ramp. Existing out and back in fixed it.

I hope to see the inside of the Officers Culb...can we hurry up and release the map....I'm getting trusty :)

Oh, I remember this mission a few weeks ago....I thought it was really cool the way the Air bases were setup. Next week will be great for me, wife will be gone all week but, don't get me wrong I'm really going to miss her ;). She would kill me if she see this lol. Just a side note...I do run VR and I notice on a sever that has clouds it gets a little jittery for me. If I remember correctly this mission had clouds. I will play around with my setting to see if can make it better. S!

We all know the good the bad and ugly of all the WWII planes here....My suggestion would be to use the good to your advantage, stay away from the bad and definitely stay away from the ugly. I for one would not like to have similar aircraft to fight against, i like the challenge of different AC to out maneuver or wait for the other guy to make a mistake for the kill. Most of my kills were from pilots making a mistake or being at the right place at the right time and all of my deaths were from 109's and 190's being more superior.....lol just kidding. My deaths were from me doing something stupid or being some where I shouldn't be at that time. I have been guiltily of this too but, I see a lot of pilots flying straight to the fight only to get smack down so, try to be more patient and pick your battles better but, if your friend needs help for sure sacrifice your self. I also hear the chatter about a flying German Tank no matter how much lead I put in her nothing happens well, with a little practice with your aiming goes a long way..you can actually turn the 109 and 190's into a little fireball pretty easily...not that I can do it all the time but, it is getting easier with practice. This is my observation of flying on BS server the last 2 months so, don't yell at me lol. S!

For the Spit Radio to work you will need to replace the DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua file with the attached file. I did a uninstall replaced it with new lua file and run the installer again. If anyone needs help let me know and we can meet on TS, in most cases it only takes about 5 min to install. DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua

@eekz....I did some early test on your server and it works fine. I think the A and B channel in the Sipt are on the same freqs may need to look in ME. I'll send you a pm to work out some standards and put the info in the mission briefing. S!

Hey guy's I got the OK from our server admin at 229th 1st Cav to use one of our Simple-radio server to use while your on Burning Skies. We are running SR ver 1.2.9.2 you can connect @ 216.239.235.156 I have Radio Expansion turn on so it should give you 3 different radios to use even though the Spit and P51 has 1 radio. I think we should make a standard for Airport freqs, likd channel A for airport operations and the B channel for Guard....The A to D channels are preset in ME so you can't change them but, the other 2 radios you can change the freqs on the overlay to different freqs and use them between squad mates to chat with. I think the A to D freqs channels match between the Spits and P51 but, not sure. I also have Coalition Security enable so, the Red side should be able to do the same thing. If you do use the 229th SR please use the norm TS rules plz. S!

FYI...I jump on the server tonight and it was zero dark 30, 10 pm DCS time to be exact...was this planed? Or did the server not reboot when it was suppose to? Just letting you know.

Am I the only one that cant see the server or connect by IP anymore?
